I'm happy this topic exsist. These mods makes GTA SA much more alive and brighter and dat bridge with the blue lights.... Awesome!

Disappearing objects (including vehicle windows) and unexpected map holes may be fixed by transforming the render chains from pre-allocated linked lists to almost-limitless linked lists. At present, if full they reject any further atomic/entity which gets pushed into, resulting in missing objects or parts of them.

EDIT: I'm trying to achieve such thing for the depth sorting to fix the alpha blending bug aswell hopefully.

I think I found a possible guilty for the map holes: farclip value on timecyc.

 

What's the deal? Well, SA have different values for farclip distances, ie. Countryside 1500, San Fierro, 600. When flying from SF to Countryside, the game fails to calculate farclip, going to 600 to 1500, and... holes

 

It was just a hypothesis, and I needed a proof.

It's the default timecyc, with all farclips set to 1500. Been playing for 2 hours, flying and driving around. Guess what...

What?!

 

Anyway.. The higher the farclp, the more objects that are on screen = alpha bug.

 

There was a mod (that I've been trying to look for.. again) that lets you adjust the "global" farclp with a CLEO (by global, I mean it changes it for all weathers).

But I can't seem to find it again. Great for testing, great for screenshots etc.

Actually it does when I use LOD mod + SRT and some other mods and I have SSD... makes me crazy :panic:

So I've decided to stop working on the bridge coronas for now. I think there is too many lights so I'll re-do it in about a week, not sure if it'll be in the next release or not.

I just wactehd the video and it looks great. Can you say me your settings ? I always have mapholes but in your video there are no mapholes. What did you do ?

There's this corona bug,when the SprBght in the timecyc.dat set higher than 1.0 the coronas have random colours,do you think this engine bug can be fixed?
