Problem downgrading to patch 126.96.36.199

I have this problem where I followed this guide, Guide on how to downgrade to patch 188.8.131.52 (Steam Version) and downgraded the game from patch 184.108.40.206 to patch 220.127.116.11. However, after starting up the game, the game shows a blank screen after the introduction R* logos. The game was able to run on patch 18.104.22.168. When I start up the task manager, it shows the game was not responding. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.
My PC specs:
cpu: i5 3470 @ 3.20Ghz (4 CPUs)
gpu: Sapphire hd 7850 2GB OC
ram: g.skill 1333mhz 8GB
os: Windows 7 Pro (64-bit)

-edit- remember to download the fonts.rar file on that guide after installing xliveless otherwise your menu fonts will disappear. I've used that exact same guide over the years and it works everytime.

I've copied the xliveless files and copied the font files into to the GTA IV main folder. After I launch the game, it stops responding after the GTA IV logo.

I've solved it by downloading the patch file from another website since the one the manual gave didn't work. Thanks.

Getting the exact same issue. Would you mind sharing the link to the working 22.214.171.124 installation please

[OT]not sure it's the good choice , only 126.96.36.199 allows to install 35 more cars (and it's pure goodness)[OT]
