I used to live in a place called Chicago, and now live in a place called Waukegan or some sh*t, I don't care. It's ghetto. That bitch from Baby Mama lived here and it's probably a small Detroit.

Our city is called "Industrial City" because there are factories on almost every block.

My town is known for corn and weed (mostly the 50% of the high school that uses it regularly).

My city has the 2nd oldest school in the USA. Yes, I attend this school and it's f*cking awful. My state is also famous for the Sandy Hook shooting.

That tall building with the gold at the top is the twelfth biggest residential building in the world.

It's really f*cking expensive to live here.

That's all I got. Time to break out the history books.

St. Albans - nice city, known for its rather extensive Roman history, with dribs and drabs post-Roman market town stuff. Some of the highest house prices in the UK, and we're top o' the monopoly board, arguably the main reason people have heard of St. Albans.

QUOTE (Hameer @ Thursday, Aug 8 2013, 20:05)
Scotland is famous for its fresh water lochs (lakes) – there are over 600 square miles of them. One of the most famous is Loch Ness where a mysterious monster is said to lurk in the depths of the water.

It is also famous for its clans, kilts, medieval castles, as well as poetry and songs of Robert Burns.

Theatre lovers from around the world come to Edinburgh for its famous theatres festival.

And Finally, the creators of GTA reside there.  biggrin.gif

Four of Canada's Father's of Confederation are from my town. One of them went on to become Prime Minister.

Leon Trotsky was imprisoned here for a few months in 1917.

That's about it.

Where I was born the National Laboratory is pretty famous, at least I think (Brookhaven). Where I live currently, our town isn't famous nationally or internationally, but it's considered by neighboring towns to be "famous" due to the aquarium. And my state is famous for bagels and terrorism.

Almost every single western movie in existence up to 1990's, the elderly, electronics and astronomy.

Unless you mean the horrid city I was born in, then it's know for hillbillies, horrible storms, and beautiful night lights.
