I don't know why I pronounce it "GTA Ivy", especially since I know what roman numerals are. But I just do. Anyone else do that?

I do, because my friend called it that. Or, maybe not "Ivy" but "Ih-veh".

I do the same. It reminds me of hospital IVs, which makes sense because of all the violence. I do the same with GTA V, I say "Vee" but I don't do it with GTA III because it would sound weird.

I pronounce it "GTA Vee" too. Again, I don't know why. Glad to see I'm not the only one who does this.

In some languages the roman numerals arent usually used. so some people spell IV literally not knowing it means 4.

Annoying habbit, I always say GTA I-vee.

Sounds good to say though, but not good to say eg,
GTA-eye-eye-eye [GTA III]

I usually say four, but occasionally say Eye-Vee for whatever reason.

Same as above. However, when I first heard about GTA IV, I pronounced it as "GTA I-V", because I didn't understand roman numerals properly.

I still don't really know many roman numerals

I have never pronounced IV as "I-Vee", but "four" simply because it's easier to say the number instead of the roman numerals.

When I was younger and first got the game, I didn't really know/remember how Roman numerals worked, so I pronounced it "ih-vé" as it would sound in Swedish, now however, I just say "4", same with GTA V.

In Serbian it would sound very weird to pronounce the letters. Everyone says GTA 4.
