Any help ? This happen when I get close to a helicopter spawn point. I waited so long for this mod and now I can't even get it working. tounge.gif

Had the exact same problem. It was actually the EXE I was using which I thought was fine. You can try using ThirteenAG's exe.. http://db.tt/PSAbEo4Y

Game crashes if you fly near a train. Also crashes if you enter a helicopter while it is on top of another vehicle.

I also confirm game crash when trying to land heli on the train. I couldn't get the game to crash when landing on another vehicle though.

//edit: okay, looks like the game indeed crashes when landing on other vehicles, but it seems to affect only certain vehicles. The game crashed when I tried to land either heli on top of Hoods Rumpo XL.

I blame partially-cut suspension stuff for that. Not sure if I can fix it sad.gif

There is no big need for this, its just a small bug.

Bigger one is textureless models of helis from distance sad.gif

Helis spawn in the multistorey carpark. It's not a big deal, but it doesn't make much sense either. tounge.gif

Thanks but I managed to find the link through the pages. Are all the planes and copters at the airport or are they spawned all over the map? I went to the airport but I couldn't find any vehicle except for the full-winged dodo. And yes, I've installed CLEO. Is the problem due to game version? I have the stock gta3.exe, didn't patch it to 1.1.

 

EDIT: The mod worked fine. The initial problem was due to Cleo not being properly installed. The installation would complete but since the target folder was read-only, no files could be copied. I installed cleo to a new folder on desktop and copied the files from there to my GTA 3 folder manually. Now the planes are spawning fine.

thanks to this mod we can now play old missions in new way. 
Here is screenshot from "sayona salvatore" but i used heli also in "cutting the grass" and it worked incredible good!

Try approaching the dam from the other side (follow the white heli), it's pretty damn hilarious. The scripts don't start and there's absolutely nobody in there, and the heli can't be shot down :D

Until the cutscene showing Catalina getting into the heli, it can't be destroyed. Every speedrunner of GTA III knows this.

That would be kinda boring to show on video. I just wanted vehicles and red barrels floating everywhere. :) I wonder how high could I send the Catalina's heli if I kept shooting :)

Just have two gta3.exe's in your gta folder, one for 1.0, and one for 1.1. Remember to name them differently to know which one is which version.

I had 1.1, but obtained the 1.0 exe, named it to gta3 1.0.exe and run the game. It worked flawless.

Yes, I know, but rotors on other helicopters works fine. Only Hunter have alpha(?) bug. 

Edit - another bug on hunter - sometimes when you using build-in machine gun, bullets hits you and destroys your's heli.

It's on top of small building in just south of the middle of Staunton Island if I remember correctly. It's easiest to find if you're in another helicopter. Once you do see it, there is warper to get you to the top of that building from the building's door.

 Yeah, that actually makes sense. I'll try to just repack the mod so that the added cars (Sabre etc.) aren't put in. ^_^

 

EDIT: Still doesn't seem to work. Never mind, I'll just use this mod over the HD cars one :p.

Mod is not compatible with 1.1 EXE yet.
