Vertices problem is it 3DS MAX2013?

Well I'm unable to create character mods because whenever I import a .odd file somehow the vertices are all screwed up. The model looks fine but ever bone is mapped wrong part of mesh. This is even without me making any modifications.

Is this simply a Gims issue with 3ds Max 2013? or am I doing something wrong

SOLVED: It was indeed a 3ds Max 2013 problem

downgrading to 2012 solved the problem
