Something like the movie No Country For Old Men would be awesome. Wandering upon a drug deal gone wrong in the desert, and grabbing the cash... and drugs. ;D

I agree with Huey Freeman Its not for me. I am more of a The Wire type of guy.

One of Trevor's friends should mention the crystal blue as an easter egg

I only ever saw the first season of Breaking Bad (I'm not following any TV Series that jumps from one channel to another regularly). It kinda required quite a bit of suspension of disbelief, but I guess a lot of stuff can be attributed to him having a terminal illness & not caring about his own safety (although his family would always be a risk).

Anyway, I'm sure there will be scenes of Trevor cooking up while wearing the gas mask used for the robberies. Heisenberg's family element might be shown in Michael's personal storyline. Franklin would be like Heisenberg's apprentice (sorry, don't know his name offhand), although they actually learn from each other.

The inevitable Soprano's references will be even more poignant now.

Continue watching, it gets so much better.
The main characters name is Walter White, by the way.

I think a lot of people hate on things simply because it's popular. The Sopranos is better than both Breaking Bad and The Wire smile.gif

I love Breaking bad, but...

THERE WILL BE NO BREAKING BAD EASTER EGGS IN GTA V

Quit being retarded, Dan Houser already said he doesn't watch crime shows that are similar to GTA. I'm sick of you idiots who keep claiming every screenshot is a tribute to Breaking Bad.

Well, the scene of the tow truck charging against the armored truck was in Heat, you know?

Dan Houser is a liar. Dan Houser doesn't watch it but that doesn't mean that everyone at Rockstar Games doesn't watch it.

I feel like GTA can create their own image, they don't need to take elements out of other movies or shows.

I'm not sure if this quote goes for movies too or just shows:

QUOTE
Q. The closest thing to Grand Theft Auto I can think of that someone is doing in a different medium is the work of David Simon, who has tried to capture cities, in “The Wire” but even more so in “Treme.” It’s quite different, but TV is similar in the sense that people spend 30, 40 hours with a show.

A. I haven’t seen “Treme.” I never even saw “The Wire.” One of my weird disciplines is that I don’t really watch a lot of those shows, if they relate to what we do. I only watched a tiny bit of “The Sopranos.” No “Boardwalk Empire.” No “Breaking Bad.” Wherever it’s too close to crime, gangster, underbelly fiction, and it’s supercontemporary, I decided, for professional reasons, I have to avoid it.

They don't need to have a whole mission Easter egg. But it would be cool if there was an RV in the desert or something like that.

Why does everyone insist on there being a refference to Breaking Bad all because Trevor is a crank addict...

here's why I think of breaking bad at times when talking about V: breaking bad is the best and most quality packed TV show ever produced. V will likely be the most quality packed game ever produced, very likely the best game ever etc.

the combination of/link between the two isn't far-fetched at all

I'll say it again.

The relationship between Michael & Franklin will be very similar to Walter & Jesse. Mark my words.

...Are you serious? I mean, ...seriously? The whole truck heist we've been shown multiple times is a direct scene for scene for the one out of the start of Heat, you think that's just a coincidence?

I don't think so. Franklin has no problems with murder, while Jesse does. I see where your coming from though, but in the end i think Franklin and Mike's relationship will be alot different to W and J.

Yes, Heat has nothing to do with V.

So the exact same planning, scene for scene cutscene of knocking the truck, and following scene being a near remake of of lining up the guards whilst they pull the money out of the truck, ...is just one big coincidence and Rockstar never intended to rip off Heat at all.
