A while back ago , i made a topic about snow in grand theft auto 5 , but now that weve seen the top of chillad(and it didnt have snow) do you think there is still a possiblity of there being snow . And if there is would it be cool if we could get skis , jet skis , snow board and bobsleights.

Noe, I think that idea is out of the window now that we've seen so many mountain peaks with no snow. And it makes sense, they had to pull the line somewhere and save snow for another GTA where they can do it properly.

I guess the simplest answer to this question is to give you this question - "Does it snow in California?"

In northern most Cali. they might get snow. However, this is a re imagined southern cali. soooo... I'd say no snow.

Oh snap, I stand corrected. I remember the one year it snowed in Las Vegas. Anything is possible.

Yes, yes it does. You can reach ski resorts within an hour's drive of LA. However, it's looking increasingly unlikely it will be in V. Unless there is one huge part of the map we don't know anything about.

Pictures like this just go to show how absolutely perfect LA is as a location for a GTA game. It's beautiful. I doubt they'll go back to LA again which is a bit sad because imagine it on next gen consoles with added scale and detail...

For next gen they'll probably go back to VC. It makes sense with R* style. They've had the same cities for the entire series with the exception of SF and LV.

Not clouds. Snow.

Has any gta allowed one to see a map area which was unaccessable? Don't think so myself. It is part of the 'world'.

Snows in Californi from Autumn through Spring in many SoCal areas like Big Bear and Bear Valley(that I've been to during season)

I also remember a trip I took as a kid in summer where we got to have snowboll fights amongst the pines.

In short: snow

Snowplows
Skimobiles
Chairlifts

And
Other things they keep secret

Only if they put seasons in the game - which I cant see happening.

Would be great though. Hope that's one of the big shocks.

Meh, unless there's a lot of it and there's a mountain town it might just be a bit pointless. I've wanted snow since GTA III so my expectations of ever seeing it in a GTA game are low. Same with seeing a bascule drawbridge.

In SA there was that one mission where you travel to LC and there's snow. Idk if that counts.

I hate snow in games. I'm really happy that GTA isn't a game set in some drab, dark gothic underbelly somewheres. Enough with the gray/brown sh*t and sh*tty weather.. sea, sunshine and submachineguns, here I come!!

There was snow in RDR was there not? Around the Tall Trees area? So I don't see why they won't put snow in. It might actually snow but there will be some on the ground/mountains.

The only chance we have of seeing snow now is if the game has seasons like Bully, and snow appears on the mountain tops during winter.

He fled to snowy Big Bear and held up ther for a week.

I think having earthquakes would be cool. Or having to avoid a tornado would be neat

Yes, earthquakes. so long as they don't mess up the map. If there is snow then it could cause an avalanche when in the mountains.
