Fellow Cops 'n Crooks All for One fans.

I've compiled some statistics you may find interesting. Which getaway locations are the easiest to escape from? I have played thousands of games, and I have reviewed my video archive and noted down when the Boss escapes, and when he was taken out.

Keep in mind, on the PC the regular players opperate as a team. Some of the Cop team will go after the Boss, but some will go to find the getaway and defend it. The location makes a huge difference, depending on how easy it is for a Crook to rush and steal it at the begining, and how many sniper positions there are if the Cops get dug in. Anyway, here are the stats from 780 rounds (390 matches) of CnC:

Charge Island South Boat 13 13 26 0.5

That's an awkward getaway to cover if the crooks get a vehicle immediately, and the cops don't immediately try to cover it. Plus if the cops are the camping types tounge.gif they usually check this spot last. It's not that difficult to swim from Dukes/Broker across to reach it, even the odd noob has escaped against me this way blush.gif .

Charge Island West (Boathouse) Boat 0.068 0.234

No surprise there for the most difficult to escape from, due to the nature of the highway being above it, it's really easy for the cops to cover this one, it's common too for any cops that do die, to have a quick access back to it. Plus the boat house provides perfect cover from helis.

FIA Helicopter & AIP (Globe Oil) Heli

I'm surprised these two are quite high for successful escapes, I like the airport spawn, been part of some brilliant games involving campers and taking them down, but it's not easy to do so. I guess the other location, plays down to the fact of the helicopter spawn not being far from the spawn location.

Anyways thanks for sharing, lol we don't escape enough on ps3!

Let's hope V has an equivalent.

Cheers. The overall escape stat may be biased upwards. I can't save every game I record due to hdd space, so I save the better ones (not conciously, but that probably means more escapes). However, it should be a fair comparison between different getaways.

I know what you mean about the Airport Heli - this can be hellishly difficult. However, it suprised me too, and looking at all the escapes, most of them involved one crook rushing it from the start. Sometimes they Cops spawn in BOABO, which is a bit tucked away to make it to the airport. If a crook get a fast car, he has a good chance of making it there first. The boss often drives up Hove Beach station to the subway tracks, and the getaway Helicopter can pick him up safely from there. If the cops get properly dug in here though, you're in trouble.

The Globe Oil Helicopter we find relatively easy because if you can eliminate any snipers, the getaway cannot be hit from the ground, and it takes precious seconds for a cop to get up the steps. If a crook can land a helicopter on the oil drum, he can simply fly away with it if there is no sniper cover remaining. The hard part is that one of the cops will often have the Booth Tunnel heli. A lot of the deaths in this one are actually after the getaway has been taken, with the Boss being killed before the switch can be made.

The one that really suprised me was how often we escape from Beachgate (Faustins place). Its not high up, but I expected it to be lower. This one is highly sensitive to the weapons that spawn inside Beachgate. The crooks never spawn inside the gates (or rarely anyway). If the weapons are good, you've got no chance. If they are smgs (no good to the cops) or grenades/molotovs, and the ones outside are better, it can be done.

Yep it can be a really bad spawn there, cops on ps3 tend to get to you within the first 10-15 seconds, the GV can only be in one place too. I quite like it as a spawn location if I'm boss for that challenge element, no chance if the boss is a noob that likes wondering aimlessly in the cops direction though! suicidal.gif

Yeah I know what you mean there. I actually have over 500 matches (1000 rounds +), but I have eliminated any matches where the was a newbie boss who did something silly, or there were two or more extra regular players on one team creating a disbalance. So hopefully these stats will iron out the idiocy that can occasionally tarnish a game tounge.gif
