Raping foreigners. Seriously, vaginae of foreigners ain't no Pandora box to make your dick hit the ceiling.

And hey, foreigners don't wash their vag after taking a pee either. Knock it off.

/rant

Before people start saying "foreigners get raped everywhere," you're goddamn right. Don't worry, I'll make the same rant when there's gonna be a topic for other countries.

The general Indian public, whenever they see a white skinned male/female, just stare at them uncomfortably. A lot of people are extremely obsessed over "fair" skin here. What those people do is f*cking stupid already.

Then there are the rapers..

To be frank, I belive that rapes will be reduced when the country accepts sex and sex-talk to not be a "sin". It's[sex] considered to be extremely taboo. Now this begs the question: Why the f*ck are there 120 million people in a country where sex is almost viewed as a "sin".

Seriously, sex-education should be implemented. It should be compulsory.

@Mockage Hail the British! For if they hadn't implemented the Divide & Rule policy, Bengal would have probably, remained united. At least that's what I understand.

Actually, US has the highest and worst rape incidents anywhere in the world followed by India and the U.K.

*1200 million.

Also those rape statistics are skewed like there's no tomorrow. Most Western countries seemingly have the highest rapes, but it's down to how they are reported. They just have higher reports of rape, it doesn't mean that they actually have the highest amount. In countries like India, or other less developed countries, rape is rarely reported. So you might get a thousand rapes in India, and only 1% are reported. Then you might get 100 rapes in Sweden, and 90% get reported to the authorities. But it would just appear that Sweden has the most.

True. Literally thousands of rape cases go unreported. You know, a who who had been subject to rape generally won't be able to get married. Or worse, a big part of the society here will blame the girl. We mostly have a patriarchal society. bored.gif

Let's not derail the topic anymore.....

Some interesting facts:

1. India was the first nation to have a Naval dock that dated back to 2400BCE. People belonging to the Harappa Civilization were the first to build a dock in Lothal. This proves their immense understanding of oceanology and marine engineering.

2. Ink made from various materials was first invented in India. This black pigment was used in writing manuscripts in ancient India. India ink was made by burning tar, pitch, bones. Carbon was the primary pigment of India ink.

3. Mathematics does not make sense without zero. Although it has no value, it plays a vital role in Arithmetic. Aryabhatta was a great mathematician and an ace astronomer. His contribution to mathematics is unimaginable. Use of Place Value System was clearly mentioned in Aryabhatta’s Bhakshali manuscript and thus zero came into existence. No particular symbol was given to zero but the presence of zero was evident from his work.

4. Cataract surgery and plastic surgery were also first performed by the ancient physician Sushruta. These surgeries dated back to 2000BCE and his work were later translated to Arabic language and gradually passed on to European countries. He used a curved needle and removed the cataract by pushing the lens.

5. Buttons are a major part of our clothing even today. Buttons were invented in India and various historical evidences and excavations prove that buttons were used by the people belonging to the Indus Valley Civilization

6. Shampoo was first invented in india!

Some of them are being moved to another state, to avoid over-population.

1)Chess was invented in India.
2)Four major world religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism originated here.
3) There are 1,652 dialects and languages spoken in India. It is not at all unusual for an Indian to speak at least two and often more languages well.
4) India has never invaded any country.
5) A commonly known, but not to be neglected India fact is that the number and concept of zero was invented and documented first by Indians.
6)The Himalaya includes the highest peak in the world—Everest. The mountain range stretches about 1,500 miles long and is over 23,600 ft at its highest.
7) Yoga: One of the more known India facts is yoga. Originating in India, yoga is now a world-wide form of exercise and relaxation. Meditation and stretches are an integral part of yoga.

False actually. Rajaraja Cholan actually invaded and conquered a part of Sri Lanka IIRC. He's one of the major reasons for the Tamil population there.

Sri Lanka has been founded during 20th Century. But Rajaraja was far before that period.

So was India. India technically wasn't "India" before 1947. In fact, unity wasn't even a common word until British stepped up their ruthlessness. The Cholas were a country; the pallavas were a country; the Mugals ruled a country of their own etc, etc.

Yeah so that itself defeats the purpose of your counter view.
I am saying 'India' hasnt invaded any other country. So that doesnt imply any clans or such which are going to be a part of India later on. smile.gif

India is actually the seventh largest country by area, and is the fourth largest democracy after the United States, Canada and Australia.

I think with largest he means by the number of citizens.

In which case India is the second largest. He's clearly referring to geographical size.

You forgot Brazil, which is larger in area than Australia and India, and more populous than Canada and Australia together.

Ah, good I was going to point this out. I don't really trust statistics from countries other than the first world. Even then though statistics...ehh...

^ That incident was a misunderstanding. Cricket has its on-field verbal aggression and Harbhajan had uttered a fairly common explicit which rhymed with 'monkey'. Symonds took it as a racial attack.

Reading the newspaper this morning and there's this news: Six get life sentence for Swiss woman's gang rape.

I like Tendulkar but not as much as Ganguly. Kinda gave up on cricket after Ganguly retired.

On a general note, I absolutely hate living in this sh*thole of a country though. Unfortunately, I'm too lazy to move out. I swear if I wasn't living in Mumbai, I would have probably mustered up some courage to move out.

Yep. But it's still better than some other cities I've been to. It's more convenient here if you want to get from point A to point B, if you don't mind the crowd.
