Since both of GTA V's discs can be installed and is somewhere around 16 gigs, can I use two 16gb flash drives or one 32gb one? I've never used two flash drives at once on my 360 so does anybody know if its possible?

Do Sandisk 32gb flash drives have 15mbs read speed?

Get a 32. 16 gig flash drives don't actually have 16 gigs of space on it.

Don't forget this :

QUOTE
This initial install will require an Xbox 360 Hard Drive or an external 16GB USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of free space. If using a USB flash drive it must be at least USB 2.0 with a minimum 15mb/s read speed and formatted for Xbox 360 use. A new USB flash drive is recommended to ensure optimum performance.  For PlayStation®3, the game ships on one disc and will install content as soon as you insert the game. The install is roughly 8GB, and players will be able to play as soon as the install is complete.

You need a 16GB to install one disc and a 32GB if you want to install both discs.

Your better off getting a flash drive they are much cheaper and don't worry about setting it up you just plug it in to your xbox and it will automatically configure it.

No, you don't. 8GB for mandatory install, 16GB for complete install (optional).

Well I'm saying if its an old ass xbox like mine with the old replaceable hdd's, they are far less expensive then flash drives. Heck you can get a 250 gb for 49.99 - 59.99...

Yeah true, i also have " an old ass xbox " and i have a 20Gb hard drive but right now i removed all DLCs and i just have something like 500Mb savefiles left but it's says my HDD is 14 Gb ... I checked the internet and find the way to change the HDD with another one but you have to find right models because not every HDD is compatible and it's not 100% sure it will works confused.gif

For me, i have a friend who has 2 xbox, he doesn't use his old one so i'll check his HDD and if it's more than 20Gb i'll probably ask him if i can use it, if not i'll check for flash drive or HDD ... even if you need 8 Gb to install the game I would like to install all DVDs because the DVD player is a bit noisy suicidal.gif

And flash drives are faster than HDD's since they're SSD.

I'm slightly curious. If I only install 1 for 8GB's I'll only need that one install right? I don't need to install both if I don't want to? Cause I'm very low on cash and HDD space thanks to Battlefield. A reply would be wonderful.

R* said you need a 16GB stick for the mandotory install and a 32GB to install both as they have less space than stated once formated etc...

For that you will have to purchase a top grade USB which can cost €100. Normal USB's are much slower than the HDD.

You do not need to install both discs, you can if you want but its not required. Installing both will reduce noise and increase texture/graphics loading times. turn.gif I know I will install both because it is easier on the console.

If that's the case- Am I able to transfer all my games onto my flashdrive instead and install the game onto my Arcade(it doesn't have a HDD btw) will I need one???

i also heard this, if you are using a 320 gb external HDD or something more than 16GB ( flash drive or something else ) it will only show 16 Gb on your 360 and you won't be able to use more ( i'm not 100% sure about it but that's what I read )

You will not be able to use more than 16GB on the USB. So you will only be able to install one disc.

It's better if you just purchase a 60GB Harddrive. It's about $50.

Much cheaper solution. 32GB can be used so you can install both discs.
