Special2 is rigged to hand?

When opening it in 3dsmax it's on the head, and all the rigging tutorials I've looked up never talk about rigging Specials.

try doing that in the skin modifier.
be sure that you check the modifier, check the vertex box, paint it with the weight tool set in 1.0, and after that, if the helmet is entiretly red, you are done.
