I know people are very excited, when find out new memes. But why do people repeat, when it is so old. I hate it, when people do that. They think its funny, its actually not, its annoying e.g loud car is loud. Mabye I am just butthurt, that I hear it all the time.

The use of "le" is kind of ironic because most of the time it's used to mock redditors, but redditors haven't said it outside of mocking other redditors since 2010, yo. You're part of the cancer too. biggrin.gif

But yeah, referencing anything you found on the internet is always a bad thing.

Also @OP you should have used the GOF topic. There have already been tons of complaints there. Giving it its own thread doesn't do anything special.

It's people trying to fit in on the Internet, because if you can fit in on the Internet, you can't fit in anywhere <insert wisecrack about your weight>

Meh, I love to piss people off by saying stuff like "Riff Raff is the best rapper" or "Lil Wayne is very lyrical" and "2Pac is overrated." The first two are obvious jokes which stupid people fall for it, and the last one is to prove a point. Stop taking the internet seriously.

And I use lol for the bitches. wink.gif

In a way, sure. But I try to make it obvious that I'm joking, yet people believe me.

Trolling in it's purest and original form is a beautiful thing. Good trolling lures out the most stupid, the most negative, and in general the least valuable people in terms of an online comunity, and displays them as such.

The term itself comes from a simple metaphor. Trolling is like fishing. A man who is fishing is not the fish, and a man who is trolling is not the troll. You are dangling your baited hook over the edge of the bridge and waiting for a stinking troll to take the bait.

This kind of tolling is unfortunately rare these days, the term itself has been bastardized, twisted, and ended up being applied to people that in most cases are the ones whom in better times would have been the ones getting tolled, and not the ones doing the trolling.

I'd like to get back to the way things used to be. Back when the terminology was accurate. Back when Trolling was an art.

Yeah, the word troll (especially on these forums) is often used on people who are just stating an opinion people disagree with or if they say something really stupid. It's kind of a buzzword people use here just so they don't have to debate with people who are dumb or on the opposite end of the argument.

To round out your metaphor, trolling is a type of fishing - one where you pull multiple lines in order to get as many fish on the line as possible.

But alas, it's devolved into an internet buzzword that's overused and misused way too often. NE wayz, u got troled.

In modern English usage, trolling may describe the fishing technique of slowly dragging a lure or baited hook from a moving boat whereas trawling describes the generally commercial act of dragging a fishing net
