There will be Grand Theft Auto VI, they still have to do Vice City, Las Venturas and San Fierro, or even Carcer City, or a new city in America.

Grand Theft Auto VIce city ?

I wonder what's next after Rockstar re-imagined past GTA cities.

They would most likely do Chicago next in my opinion. It is a perfect GTA setting because of all the corruption and crime and plus it has never been done before.

Lot of crazy sh*t there, though. Plus with countryside like swamps it would be a really interesting GTA.

I don't know, maybe for once we won't make sequels from any succesful game? +Rdr is fine as it is

I get 'sequelitis' from franchises that always involve the same characters and a continuation of the same storyline. This is a problem in the film industry. It doesn't bother me that much in games because new iterations in a franchise tend to do something different, with brand new characters, settings, and stories. This isn't just the case in GTA, but for most game series, really. Sometimes the only thing they really have in common is the title and basic genre, like in Final Fantasy games.

Western setting games have a sorely lacking place in the game industry, and I feel R* is the best developer for such games. So, I have no problem with the Red Dead franchise becoming more robust. It's more limited in setting than, say, GTA, but I think it deserves at least one more game with different themes, tone, and characters than the previous entry.

I am biased since I am from Michigan, but I think a Detroit based city would be interesting. Synonymous with crime and cars. Even put a Flint based city in there. Have the two most dangerous cities in America in one game. Plenty to satirize.

New Orleans.

Easily the best choice. I could imagine the Quarter with all kinds of crazy drunk antics, nightlife, nearby beaches, swamps and bayous full of gators, coyotes, and bobcats, a huge lake with sharks and boats, great architecture, public transit, police and political corruption, culture, etc. The only city I think would work well is DC.

idk, as excited as i am to see how dangerous the ghettos of LS are in V, (especially walking down the worst street as trevor in his underwear,) i think i would expect sometihng different for VI. i read a comment that hit the nail on the head which said "its gonna be like going from san andreas to IV, better physics, graphics, AI, but the overall wow factor wont be as exponential as V.

i mean seriously, i did enjoy IV but it was lacking a lot. SA was like crack to me and i still play now n then.

GTA V just might be the last game i ever buy. im really not into video games anymore. the last of us was good story but i beat it in 3 days and i never play linear games back to back.

my point is, theres a reason rockstar is releasing this game 1 month before the new gen offish comes out, they utilized over 8 years of development time. im not saying V will be a polished copy of IV (LOL), but rockstart knew a long time ago i believe that gtaIV would do great but nowhere as good as the "final draft".

Is anybody feeling Chicago?  cool.gif

Watch Dogs is doing Chicago so well, i wouldnt want to see Rockstar touch it....

Damn... Is anybody feeling Arizona? cool.gif OR a Gta VI city that al the past characters return? tounge2.gif

Arizona would be awesome, not that I've spent a lot of time there (spent a night in phoenix on the way to la) it could potentially be really good, i mean look, you have all the really pretty areas like flagstaff... I would personally really want to see something in Mexico... or the entire State of Florida.

Philadelphia is pretty close to Chicago (city wise) or even Vegas would be cool, same with Dallas, Atlanta, Detroit, but it would be a nice change of scenery if it were somewhere down south..

With the huge improvement in hardware, I'd be hoping for something like east coast or west coast inlove.gif

I would personally like to see GTA: Washington D.C. There is two airports, surrounding forests and beaches, plus it would be a good replica. replica of Washington D.C. They could also include Baltimore and Philadelphia because they are pretty close cities

Why not Philadelphia? This would be a region NO ROCKSTAR GAMES GAME HAS TOUCHED BEFORE. Philadelphia and the state of Pennsylvania is in the northeast region near Liberty City, but why not? It's so close, yet so different.

I think you may be right. "The Crew" (new game by Ubisoft) has, like, almost the whole f*cking US as it's map if I'm not mistaken. Rockstar should make a game that covers an entire coast.

Then they could simply not shrunk it down so much. If it was real life New Orleans, it'd be like 8 times GTA V.

Honestly, I don't think Rockstar is going to re-do Liberty City again.

I know for a fact that I've read this in an interview, but Dan Houser explains how IV's Liberty City is how he always envisioned it. That's how he always imagined his parody of New York.

This is the third time Rockstar is remaking the cities. Liberty City, San Andreas, and Vice City have been around since the 2D Era, and have been remade every time there was a new universe (2D, 3D, HD).

From here, I can only see them finishing up the rest of the State of San Andreas, and then remake Vice City. Rockstar has noted they have an interest in creating a game with all the cities in one big game. So after they finish remaking the older cities into how they want them to be, they're either going to create a game with San Andreas, Liberty City, and Vice City in one game - possibly with a few changes or extra islands in between. Or they'll start making new cities if the technology for a combined GTA isn't available yet.

I see the former, them having all three maps in one game, coming before any new cities. Rockstar has been working with these cities for a long time.

GTA 6 should be based in Chicago. That would be epic
