Remember that one mission you do with Malc (forgot the name) and Johnny said that he dresses like the Republican Space Rangers? It was funny at first, but looking back on it, it seems kinda of an odd reference, seeing as the Republican Space Rangers is a cartoon in the GTA universe. So how would Johnny, a 34-year old adult, know about it? I've got three theories:

1. RSR has been on the air for a very long time, and aired episodes when Johnny was a kid.
2. RSR has a significant cult following in the GTA universe, to the point that nearly everybody knows about it, much like "Star Trek" in real life, although that isn't a cartoon.
3. Johnny is a manchild and watches children's shows in his spare time.

That was definitely topic worthy sarcasm.gif
They got TV in the clubhouse, he could watch episode or two in a free time. It's not a big deal, if he watches cartoons. RSR isn't much of a child's cartoon.

Well, there isn't much on TV, anyways. He's most likely seen everything.

Actually some places run promotions and what not featuring the Republician Space Rangers, can't remember off the top of my head which but they give out action figures. I remember hearing about it on Liberty Rock Radio, Johnny's default radio station, so that's probably where he picked it up.

There's adverts of RSR in LC, and it could have been on an advert that played while he was watching the telly.

I'm aware of Spongebob Squarepants, yet I'm 20 years too old for it. He has an awareness of the world around him, and RSR is not a childs cartoon. It is full of adult themes and innuendos (much like the simpsons!), and is appropriate for adults more than children.

I don't know what world you live in, but wtf, this topics retarded. Adverts, TV, Radio, friends.... Just...

More importantly, how does Johnny know what a baby is? He calls Brian one, and at no point has Johnny have a child, so how does he know what one is?!

Calm down

Maybe Johnny was once a baby at one point in time?

Definitely not, he rode out of his mother womb as a 34 years old biker, dressed in black leathers, sitting on a Hexer.

Source?

I f*cking hate people who claim they know something but provide no source, you should go to the V section where you belong.

You know what? Some people may talk down to you about your pointless topics, but, I like them, they're thought provoking from inside the GTA universe. I sometimes think about trivial things within the games like this and I'm damn glad to see someone else does so as well.

This is very likely. Liking RSR in the GTA-world is like being a brony in the real world. Who can blame him, they're a bunch of hot guys in uniform (who are all probably gay). And you know how Johnny is, the reason he got so upset when Jim died was because Jim was the only guy who would let Johnny-boy ride his bike into his garage.

Yep, RSR seems more like the GTAs version of Family Guy or something, just a lot less censored. No problem with watching it I'd say haha, can't wait to beat up the Commander in GTA V when he does a live-show - I hope I get to pick up his gear after ;D

I've never once seen any of the Power Ranger shows, yet I know what they are.

Think about that.
