I'm 14 years old and I have been following GTA extensively sense 2011. I've never been aggressive and I have no desire to shoot someone in the face but my parents are CONVINCED that violent video games alter people's minds and make them want to commit crimes. Now we as GTA gamers know this is untrue. Please share insight on your experiences with GTA when you were younger and tell me what I should do. Should I save up my money and have my friend buy it for me? Thanks and ALL help is greatly appreciated smile.gif

You should run dude ,GTA fans are the craziest followed by CoD fans. All we do in GTA's is pick up hookers,f*ck the and then cut them in half with chainsaw to get our money back. But on a serious note, that game isnt for kids ok,If you can't buy and you even need to ask parents to do it,it's not meant for you. That R-18 will hunt you wherever you go. Ask them money for new NFS and buy GTA.

Get a job. Otherwise you're at the mercy fg your parents since you're not really entitled to anything you don't work for. You can't really use the age excuse either because there are tons of ways to make money and buy the game online if the rating concerns you. If you have an internet connection and work ethic, you can make money.

Get someone to buy the game for you, then take the disc out of the case and keep it in the case of another game. Then whenever you play and your parents pass by, pause the game and make it look like you're trying to find some place on the map.

Or if you're in free roam and you're just out in the street, just keep walking down the street and make it look uninteresting. That's how I played gta when I was younger, of course now I'm 18 and I can play any game I want to, but when I was 13 it was quite the challenge.

If you have to ask us how to approach this, you probably shouldn't ask them.

Borrow a copy from the kid with the cool parents.

Theres bound to be a store that allows to sell M rated games to minors. They are rare though since Gamestop and other major companies own that business area.

And yes it does happen because theres a store nearby my area that allows it, as long as you have the money.

Tell them it's a open world game where you can get your own pet, ride bikes, play tennis and golf, learn to drive cars and fly planes and how to swim.

or get a job and buy it yourself.
