All of you "I didn't ask for this!" retards are the reason this forum is mocked by the entire gaming community. You probably ask yourselves the same question when that Fed Ex package arrives with the WRONG vibrator.

Yeah, it is so retarded how some people express their own opinions.

It's not the opinion, it's the arrogant "I DIDN'T ASK FOR THIS!" attitude.

So if I say "i don't want driving to be arcadey" I am being arrogant?

So, in the interview the R* person said that if you use franklins ability to slow down time , you can pull off moves with pin point accuracy , which are generally hard to pull off. So maybe they were using that ability but did'nt show it slowed down in action? Whatever it is , he did say those kind of moves are hard to pull off so maybe the person driving was too good or lucky lol.

How is it arrogant?
A lot of people here didn't ask for this, a lot of people did not want this.
I don't see how it could possibly considered arrogant.

EDIT: to everybody freaking out over driving physics, don't worry about it, try to think about all the other awesome features, trust me, you'll care a lot less when you think about everything else.

Arrogance is to expect Rockstar to cater to your every whim. "I didn't ask for this!" speaks for itself, and if you can't see the arrogance in that statement, then you never will.

I don't mind the stiffened suspension but they got rid of the oversteer. I don't like that because I actually liked doing U-turns in IV while I hated that in every other game I've played.

In GTA V O'Clock Video they said you won't be able to perform moves like the red car did in the trailer in real time .So what we saw that got people complaining was the special ability performed for us to see how it works. The driving is not arcade style at all

You people sure know how to bitch about something no offense.
Wow, so the driving doesn't feel boatlike anymore, awesome, play the game and then f*cking comment, a 10 seconds snippet won't tell you how it actually is in game.

I'm with the people who really enjoyed gta iv handling. While I agree that we really have to reserve judgment until we actually play the game, I'm a little concerned with people just writing all the stuff they don't like about the driving as "just the tuning".

Particularly for online play but even for single player, there's is no way you will be competitive against other people by or AI keeping a gta iv handling style if your competitors can just slide around everywhere at high speeds without hitting the brakes once. So now I will be forced to play with everything " tuned on max" so to speak to be worthy of any competition against other players.

The reasons that these cars look they way they do in terms of performance may very well be because of the tuning, but that doesn't change the fact that we will be forced to use it and drive this way to have the best performance in the game.

If multiplayer really is revolutionary, you won't have to worry. But if that ends up being the case, f*ck them, I'm doing private races with my friends.

What question? If you are complaining that Rockstar didn't ask you for permission to make the necessary changes, then YES, YOU ARE ARROGANT.
It's obvious that more people complained than were happy with GTAIV'S handling, so they made the necessary adjustments. You, and a couple of others who think they can make judgements based on a couple of seconds of video, and who are upset that this was something YOU didn't ask for, are delusional.

Well It is mostly gone from what I see. I can tell from a video how the physics are going to be in a game, It's not so hard, if something doesn't look right it probably won't feel right.

I am not complaining about that, i am trying to provide them with opinions so when they read these forums, they see what fans think and they can develop their games even better in future. Have you ever heard about customer feedback? Very very important part in any business involved in customer service.

I ask it again, if I say "i don't like arcadey driving" does it make me arrogant?

They already DID respond to fans. That is why they changed the handling. If most fans loved GTAIV'S handling, they would not have changed anything.
As for your question about being arrogant, I think that if you don't represent the majority of fans who thought that GTAIV's handling sucked, then to assume that you KNOW for a fact that GTAV's handling is "arcadey", based on a few seconds of video, then to top it all off by saying "I didn't ask for this!", the answer is YES! You are being arrogant.

The handling looked fine to me - really good, actually. I loved the driving in GTA IV, but I agree now that the handling was very 'boat-like'. Looks like they have sorted this.

Nobody said you don't have a right to your opinion. I don't understand how you can misinterpret everything i'm saying. I clearly was referring to people complaining that they weren't consulted when Rockstar decided to make these changes. "I didn't ask for this" is said by people who expect to be consulted, which in my opinion is ARROGANT. Do you expect Rockstar to ignore the majority in favor of a minority? That doesn't make any business sense.

You tell them to stop complaining and to focus on good sides instead. Now about that minority thing, driving physics has been discussed a lot in these forums so i surely am not representing a small minority.
