This may be a matter of opinion, but I read all the time about people feeling sad and stuff whenever people get killed off in GTA 4. However, I didn't feel a thing, but I want to. I want to cry. It feels so good to cry, when you're just balled up in your bed, listening to sad music on your record player and you're crying real hard, there's snot shooting out of your nose, and you can't breathe because you're crying so hard. Do you think V will have moments that will make you cry, like if a special character gets killed off? I hope so. I like crying.

Who enjoys crying? I sure as hell don't. I prefer to be happy and enjoying life. In IV I felt compassion for some of the people i killed or ran over (mostly if they resembled my irl parents.) but not in gta v. It's too... LA.

I'd much prefer to laugh and smile and feel enjoyment and happiness. Crying sucks. But I know what you mean about that harsh drama that shocks you in a game. Won't make me cry though.

Don't get me wrong, I love being happy, but sometimes whenever I'm feeling down and stuff, I just want to shut my door, close my blinds, and let it all out.

On September 17th i'll be crying out of my penis.

Being serious though, no GTA has moved me to tears (or any videogame for that matter). I did feel some emotion during IV a couple of times, but that's about it. I highly doubt I'll be crying during V, nor do I want to.

Break your best train models if you want to cry lol.gif Jk, dude. Gotta say I didn't feel sad in moments like when Niko's gf was killed and that. I forgive the life to some of these guys who were optional to kill, though.

I hope there is at least one sad/devastating moment in V, but I don't want it to be at the end of the game, I'd rather a happy ending

I cried playing The Last of Us. bored.gif That, and Heavy Rain, are the only games to ever make me cry. I seriously doubt I will even come close to crying playing GTA V!

Glad I'm not the only one with EPS.

OT: I'll cry if the game gets delayed.

The only time I cried for dying in a video game was back in 1993 when I was 11 and I was playing those Master System or Mega Drive Games with 2 or 3 levels and when I way advanced in the game I died for some stupid reason because the 3 lives weren't enough. And I had to start all over again, no save points, no level codes, nothing... all from the start again. Don't think GTAV will have that problem.

Dude I hate crying so much. I try to stay happy most of the time.

But to reply to your question, I've never cried because of a game that I can remember. If Chop dies I will be upset though cryani.gif I still won't cry though

" I'll cry when I'm through killin' "

Only real life tragedies can make me cry like the OP describes, and only a few times. Music or movies can trigger it.

But video games, sheesh - they aren't even close. I think video game makers try too damn hard at apeing the movies and trying to create drama using the same old plot devices. Movies can achieve these emotions when the actors are good. Cutscenes in video games are overrated.

Haven't cried in about a year. I wish someone would slap me across the face with something that'll make me cry dontgetit.gif

Anyway, I want a major sad moment in GTA V. Like a protagonist betraying the others and putting a bullet in one of their heads, and watches them die with no regrets. I'm sure that would make people cry.
More than anything, I want to see Michael die. He entered the witness protection, but that doesn't always mean you're safe. His old associates should find and kill him.

Lol tolling?

But the only video game to ever get me even remotely close to crying was Red Dead. It broke my heart at the end and I personally thought it was the best ending to any video game I've ever seen.

You're not alone friend, it happens to everyone.

I will be like that when I got the Collectors Edition in my hands, I will close the door and I will be crying like OMG I can't believe I have survived!

I've never cried over a game, even though MGS 4 was almost close. I have not and do not ever see myself crying over a GTA game. There is too much hilarity and parody of things for me to even think about thinking about crying. This game, so far at least looks to be less dark than Niko's story, which was extremely well executed.

I damn sure won't cry when chop dies.

People who doesn't understand why one can cry because of a video-game have obviously never played RDR or the Mass Effect series.

Very few games have managed to get a tear out of my eye to this date, Portal 2 being the few of them. The ending gets me every time.

It seems a lot of you haven't played LOU yet. God damn THAT was some emotional sh*t. I don't think GTA will move me to tears though. Like someone said above, most likely tears out of my penissssss

When the police kills Chop, even though I don't like Rottweilers.

No, but I don't know if that will happen. I don't know if I even will cry. Didn't cry in RDR, didn't cry in Heavy Rain.. I'm just some badass mofo.

Although, nothing sad never really happened in Heavy Rain, I completed that game like a boss. and I loved John Marston best character ever.

Never cried for a video game.

However, the only games to make me tear up were Red Dead Redemption and Mass Effect 3.

If Chop dies, it'll hit hard.
