I need a new game quite badly. I'm just so f*cking bored and unimpressed by all of the sh*t I have played recently... I need a new game. Please recommend one. And I encourage you to recommend the best f*cking game out there, because I'm tired of checking out half-assed pieces of garbage.

This obviously isn't counting every game I have ever played, but games that I own or have recently played.

Games I enjoyed
Grand Theft Auto IV (and EFLC)
Red Dead Redemption (and UN) [my favorite of all time]
Max Payne 3 (grey area)
Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Uncharted series
The Last of Us
Far Cry 3 (sort of)

That's about it, honestly...

Games I dislike
Every Gears of War
Every Call of Duty
Every Medal of Honor
Every BioShock
Every Dead Space
Both Borderlands games
Mass Effect 2 (haven't played the first...)
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Assassin's Creed III
Resident Evil 6 (I dislike most RE games)
Sleeping Dogs
L.A Noire
Saints Row 3
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3
The Walking Dead
Skyrim
Fable II (haven't played the first...)
Fable III
Injustice: Gods Among Us
Deadpool: The Game

Games I look forward to
Grand Theft Auto V (wooooooooooooot!!!)
inFamous: Second Son
Watch Dogs
Tom Clancy's: The Division
Final Fantasy XV (grey area)
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z

Find me a game, if possible. Just looking at the list, I know I come off as one of those whiny kids that can't be satisfied... Recommend something, people. I even added the 'games I'm looking forward to' list for further help.

You seem to dislike nearly every good video game on the market. I know it's just opinion but I can't think of what game you'd like looking at you're list of 'bad' games. I'm not sure if you'd like them or not.

Well, since you like The Last of Us, you could try I am Alive maybe? Seems cool from what I see.

Considering you're not so hot on modern games, how about digging up some classic games with some sweet emulators? Some classic Genesis games like Ranger X or Sonic or Robocop? Or some Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy III on Super Nintendo. I need more hours in the day to play all these great games.

That game actually looks like good. I remember this chick telling me about, but I just stared at her tits the whole time. I might have to get that. Thanks man... I've never even considered this game until today.

Try Alan Wake. It has a great story. a nice setting and solid gameplay. It's one of my favourite games of this generation.

It is a shame you have listed Sleeping Dogs and Skyrim as dislikes, both amazing.

If you were put off by skyrim because of the genre, Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas would EASILY keep you busy for years.

But on a more user friendly list:

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon (A MUST BUY)
Retro City Rampage
Tomb Raider (2013)
Defiance (If you don't mind an online mmo)
Deus Ex: HR
Minecraft
Hitman Absolution (Not as good as the HD pack but still decent, and cheap)
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

Good oldies:

Rainbow Six Vegas 1&2
Mirror's Edge
Metal Gear Solid HD collection
Hitman HD Trilogy

I also hear that Metro: Last Light and Dishonored are also very good though I have not played either.

Since you haven't mentioned it anywhere, Burnout Paradise. Despite being 5 years old, it's still the most fun I've had in any racing game.

I might be reading too much into it, but as Bioshock, Mass effect, Fable 2&3 are on his list, he strikes me as the kind of person who just doesn't get along with RPG games. Which is a shame, as Fallout should be adored by everyone.

But on topic, you seem to enjoy sandbox/ free roam style games, so you could always give Saints Row 2&3 a go. I would say the first, but I'm not sure if its compatible on PS3 or 360.

Holy sh*t, every game you've disliked are my favorite games.
Anyway, try out Silent Hill 2, my best PS2 game of all time and BEST GAME OF ALL TIME!
Don't buy the HD collection, get the PS2 original.

You only like open-world games without a story?

Aight, play some Fallout 3/NV and Saint's Row.

Or try Gun, an actualy good western game. Beats RDR by a mile (while being shorter).

How about Burnout Paradise? It is easily enjoyable if you're into car damage and arcade driving.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is one of the best games of all time. If you don't like it then there is no hope for you.

Don't bother with the sequels though, they are sh*t.

Arkham Asylum/City, Mafia II, Deus Ex HR, Hitman, Absolution, Splinter Cell Conviction, Alan Wake.

I played all of those other than Alan Wake... I didn't list them because I was only listing games I played in the last couple of months.
Batman: Arkhamn Asylum - Decent, as it's a generic beat 'em up game
Mafia II - SUCKED. Oh, god, that games was boring as hell. Great mechanics and good story, but there was nothing to do with the little freedom that you get.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution: This game was weak...
Hitman: Abolution - Boring...
Splinter Cell Conviction - Fell short. Not bad, but not good enough.

That game is old as sh*t, bro. I had that for GameCube lol.gif

GUN was terrible suicidal.gif

I didn't like L.A Noire because there wasn't much freedom, and the shooting was half-assed. Wasn't a bad game, I just didn't like it. I still have it and plan on playing through it again.

Because I listed games I played recently, not 7 years ago... I have played every Grand Theft Auto other than the first and the London expansions.

Everyone, please try to keep it at current-gen. If you have to recommend games from the GameCube era, than that's just sad...

Two Thrones was pretty good, not a masterpiece but still decent.

How about Dead to Rights, its kind of like Max Payne but a bit more crazy. That or some Devil May Cry HD collection/4/reboot. honestly, I would probably pick up a PS2 and play some classics like Silent Hill 2 or Shadow of the Colossus or Burnout 3 or whatever.

Sorry I recommended you a game you might enjoy. because, you know, we all know exactly what you have played.

They took everything that made the first game loveable and removed it. If you are going to make a sequel to one of the best games ever, improve upon it's features. Don't remove them.

I think I might request a lock... This is going nowhere. You people only play PS2 games, and anything from this generation that you recommend is something terrible. Alan Wake and I Am Alive are the winners. I'll check into those.

@theomenofficial - But I have two different PlayStation Exclusives in the enjoyed list... I play PS Exclusives all of the time, but nothing worth mentioning. I want something huge, like, better than Assassin's Creed at the least.

@Erebos - No I'm not. My enjoy list features different type of games. You guys are recommending nothing but old sh*t. I don't even have my PS2 or GameCube anymore, and I won't buy another.
