Hello Everyone

i had problem with my GTA IV. its lagging not much but its lagging i bought game on Steam and Updated game 1.0.7.0 so why still lags i waiting your helps

CPU: AMD FX X8 8350 4GHz 8-Core
Motherboard: Asus Crosshair V Formula Z
GPU: Powercolor HD 7970 384 Bit 3GB
RAM: GSKILL 2X4 8GB DDR3 2400MHz RAM
PSU: XILENCE XP800W
HDD: TOSHIBA 3.5 1TB 7200RPM
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit SP1

Graphics Settings:
Video Mode: 1920 x 1080 (60 Hz)
Texture Quality: High
Shadow Quality: Very High
Reflection Resolution: Very High
Water Quality: Very High
Texture Filter Quality: Anisotropic x16
Night Shadows: Very High
View Distance: 100
Detail Distance: 100

Your settings are too high, particularly the shadows, which should be high, not very high and night shadows turn off. View and detail about 30 and 40. If you get any slowdowns while boating on water, then turn that down too.

The difference in quality at that resolution is very little from turning down settings.

But i can open Crysis 3 with Very High Settings with 60 fps my HD 7970 enough for GTA IV
but i heard GTA IV Had some port problem thats way lag

Yup, that's exactly right. I have a 680 (and can also pull off very high setttings on Crysis 3 averaging 60-50fps) but GTAIV drops to 30fps at times, it's normal.

GTA IV only use four of those physical cores iirc, its the main reason i never installed this x6 1045t i bought years ago
