I'll admit, it's a pain in my ass to this day. The first times I tried to complete the Z missions I just outright gave up and didn't return until halfway through Las Venturas.

Just to note, I'm a skilled user of PS2 version who has played this mission dozens of times and it's still just as hard now as it was at 1st. This mission is why I'll never make a new game (Well, unless my memory card gets erased). I only cheat on things that just can't be done without cheating (such as changing gangs weapons) but this mission was the only exception for me. Here are some failed examples:

The Health & armor cheat (R1, R2, L1, X, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up) didn't repair the RC's damage. I used the Pedestrians riot cheat (Down, Left, Up, Left, X, R2, R1, L2, L1) plus the Pedestrians have weapons cheat (R2, R1, X, Triangle, X, Triangle, Up, Down) thinking peds armed with m4's, shotguns and Missile launchers would attack Berkleys couriers for me, but it didn't work. The destroy all vehicles cheat (R2, L2, R1, L1, L2, R2, Square, Triangle, Circle, Triangle, L2, L1) destroys the vans & motorcycles but not the bike. It also destroys the RC. There are, unfortunately, no cheat device codes for this mission. Besides luck, I wish I remember how I beat this.

Okay, Hall (and others who implied such) do share with us your so-called "strategy". Unless a compelling argument is brought fourth, I stand by it that you somehow cheated or are lying. Obviously, this mission can be beaten but not easily. I especially do not believe anyone can beat this 1st try.

I hated this mission when I've first tried to complete the game. Much time has passed since then, now I can complete it from the first try.

Hall90, let me straighten things out. In your previous post, you implied you don't cheat and don't lie. However, on page 75 of the Code Conversion Requests thread, you admitted to using a code. Therefore, you admitted you use cheats. You lied about using cheats, therefore, you lie also. And another thing: if you have a vendetta with my posts, express it in words (not vague, animated icons) so I can correct any misconduct (if any is present, that is) on my end. Anyway, I refuse to stray away from the topic. We can debate via personal messenger if you wish.

Back on topic: what I don't get about this mission is why does CJ have to use an RC plane to attack Berkleys employees? He's a gangster, not a nerd. Is there a way to conserve fuel? Likewise, is there a way to avoid gunshots from the couriers?

Zero doesn't believe in physical violence. (Yet it is okay to do it digitally in a plane)

In the PC Version, you can conserve fuel by coasting along the ground.

I could never pass this mission on PS2, but i passed it first time round on the Xbox 360! biggrin.gif

Wether if they made the PS2 version more or less impossible or wether if i just got better at GTA i don't know.

My advice for people struggling with the mission, go for the 3 in front of you first, then go for the other 2 last. Whatever you do, dont hold down acellerate, glide as much as possible, and good luck!

The original 2004 PS2 version of the game featured a glitched version of this mission, where the fuel would decrease by time rather than by use.

It was fixed on the PS2 Rerelease as well as every other version of this game.

Even though I don't find this mission hard. On the PS2 version, I would always finish with the slightest trickle of fuel.

That is not a glitch. It is a Timer. Rather than using a Clock they used the Fuel consumption.
My PS2 (SE) game still had this feature for Supply Lines mission.

First time on PS2 took me FOREVER! I got stuck on that race in the badlands for a while. I think I passed it 1st/2nd time on PC a year later.

I'd only been playing games a few years, and I think the PC controls are easier.

Calm down, he doesn't know what he saying.

Anyway...

what would've also helped would be a bar health too for the RC Plane.

Oh, I assure you, - once you grasp the flight controls, it is as easy to do on PS2 as it would be on PC!

I know it, tried it myself. Even more - for me, the PS2 controls turned out to be even easier because of their layout.

So it's 1 for me, no doubt. Both on PS2 and PC.

I really dont know why do people hate this mission, I actually kinda like it because it is sort of distinguishing, and also it was EASY.
I really do not know why do they find it so hard.
But yeah, those who arent acquainted with the flight controls, it might be a pain for them to complete this one..

*Grunt*

For some reason, Supply Lines is the most complained about mission on the board. Now why might that be, I inquire?
