So... I've seen many of these topics, but not a poll I've SEARCHED and I couldn't find it. But if there is one go ahead and lock it. And if this is in the wrong section I'm sorry.

So....

Was Supply Lines easy for you at first when you encountered the mission?

Please don't mix it up with how easy it is now.

So please answer smile.gif

Surprisingly, yes. Not the easiest mission, but in my first playthrough after 2 fails I leaved Supply Lines and came back to them just before End of the Line. Then I passed it wihout any problems on my first try. Similiar case was with Freefall which I passed on my first try. But on other hand I spend quite a bunch of time doing other missions. smile.gif

I think I was stuck in it for longer than with any other mission. I had the additional difficulty of playing on PS2, so I was only going to get through by being fast. And most of the time, I failed either because the stupid Sanchez made a run for it and wasted my time, or by running out of gas within just a couple of blocks from Zero's shop.

Always found air raid harder due to aiming with tumbsticks! Once I got it for PC though, air raid because very easy. Supply lines never gave me much trouble, and also of note is that on PC and the newer editions of SA on console they changed the fuel mechanic which makes the mission a lot easier.

As for the poll, didn't pass it first time, but it didn't take ages either.

Supply Lines = Piece of piss

Evidence: From experience when playing the version where the fuel depletes over time (PS2) as well as when the fuel depletes over use. (PC)

since I played on ps2 first hard, playing it on pc is too easy if you fail on the pc version leave the game, stop playing and never come back smile.gif

I think it's much harder on PC than ps2. I must have had at least 5 or 10 goes before passing.

It was hard as f*ck, took me 6 tries until i passed it so yeah, it took me forever due to Ryder's sh*t accuracy.

Wrong mission. wink.gif

This is for Supply Lines, not 'Robbing Uncle Sam'.

I don't really remember if I failed once/twice on my first playthrough..but I surely did not have much trouble with it and completed zero's mission as soon as they were available.
I have a nasty habit of referring to FAQs even when it is unnecessary, so that might have helped a bit.
And obviously I don't have the PS2 version. devil.gif
Also, is robbing uncle sam that hard on PC? Never had any trouble with it..

Well everybody has trouble with a differenr mission. With that being said I don't own it for PC. But the mission took me at least 5+ trys, cause Ryders aimis completely crap dozingoff.gif
So. After getting tired of seeing the "mission faild" I said "Screw this" I'm blasting them myself! And boom!! Passed the mission! cool.gif

I'll admit, I had a hell of a tough time trying to complete Supply Lines. I gave up on it after the first few tries, and I returned to it sometime after I finished End of the Line and then finally passed it. I hated that sh*t, though. I haven't done it in a long time however, and I have the Xbox version so I can't remember whether the fuel depletes over time or with use.

I know which mission it is, I don't remember whether I had failed first time or not though. It is much more easier on the PC version which I use.

Supply lines? Piece of cake. Stowaway and the flying school on another hand... Photo opportunity was a pain too.

And don't forget: all you had to do, was follow the damn train!

I pass everything from the first time now, amazing how much better I've gotten since then!

Anybody who voted for the "Piece of cake" is lying. There had to be some part that stumpt you, especially the sanchez! angry.gif

The only thing hard about Stowaway was reaching the plane to get on it. I kept hitting the dumb barrels dozingoff.gif

I got the game when it first came out so I had to deal with the supply lines glitch. It was a couple of months before I had that mission beat. All other copys of SA I had had the glitch fixed.

Aye, totally lying. sarcasm.gif

Only missions I hate are 'Wrong Side of the Tracks' and 'Vertical Bird'.

'Vertical Bird'.

How ironic, that's one of my favourite since I love duelling the dumb hydra AI. After trying hydra duelling in SAMP (which I never excelled at..) this mission seems too easy especially with heat seekers.
The missions I really had problems when I first encountered it were 'Cesar Vialpando' and 'Life's a beach'. Also trying to get all gold at Driving School seemed tougher than getting 100% 10 times. Even Flying School is easier.

From my experience, supply lines dwarfs every mission (story & side) in the entire game.

If you think supply lines is easy, you must've cheated somehow.

I don't think anyone who wasn't familiar with plane controls or watched some walkthrough would do this on first try. If player do this mission while being in SF for the first time this is basically first contact with planes, so nobody can say that it was "piece of cake" imo.

There should one more option in this poll. It's not black or white.

I didn't find this mission easy but it also didn't take me forever to pass it.
I passed the mission after trying for 2-3 times.

I heard that consoles weren't configured properly for this mission, can't remember what it was though.

Supply Lines on PS2: Fuel is basically a timer.
Supply Lines on PC: Fuel deploys correctly.

On my original PS2 playthroughs, I never completed the missions, but I became a master with planes, so on my first playthrough where I completed the mission, it was simple as I knew how to fly the plane, I ended up back at the shop with a small bit of fuel left.

Although on PC, I don't see what's so hard to believe, I passed it first time with no contact of planes, with at least half a tank left.

I passed from second time... The bastards changed the controls from VC, so took me a while to figure out what's what. biggrin.gif

Not correctly. Since the plane doesn't use ANY fuel when rolling on the ground or 'coasting' it certainly isn't correct.

Correctly as if it's not drained when not accelerating or rolling on the ground, like on the PS2 version.
