Yes, San Fierro is the most underrated city in the whole series. Would love to see it in HD, based in the 1970s.

On topic though, I would say Liberty City. It may have lost its charm in LCS, but it's just so "magical" to drive around in III, a deep level of atmosphere R* have never been able to replicate in any other GTA.

I'm going to say Vice City. I can't wait until R* does an HD VC. I just have so many memories of that place. Wish it was a bit bigger.

There are two cities in the 3D-era I enoyed a lot, a lot more than any other, and that are Liberty City and Vice City. I love the gritty and dark feeling of LC, it feels so nostalgic; it is simply amazing. I just love to drive around with a car, listen to the radio and explore the city. The same goes with Vice City, although, the city is not gritty and dark, but the 80's atmosphere of it is what it makes so great.

It truly does. R* captured that 80's feeling in VC greatly.

I completely agree with you, both of the cities are absolutely amazing... they brink back so many memories to me.

If I had to choose, I would choose Liberty City, on the basis that I know and remember the place so well (and that I love GTA III so much)

I had to say Las Venturas because of the heavy Vegas references, although my favourite GTA (whole series) city is Liberty City in GTA Advance.

I voted Los Santo. I think it`s the most diverse, as you go from crime-ridden ghetto (Ganton, Idlewood, East Los Santos, El Corona, Jefferson) , industrial areas (Ocean Docks, Willowfield, Playa Del Seville), urban downtown (Downtown Los Santos, Commerce, Pershing Sqare, Little Mexic), rich suburbs (Mulholland, Richman, Temple, Las Colinas, Glen Park), commercial areas (Vinewood, Rodeo, Market, Marina), and beautiful beaches (Santa Maria Beach, Verona Beach, East Beach). And the obseratory park and the airport. Even though LC from IV is my favorite over all. I expect LS from V to soon be my new favorite.

Vice City no doubt. inlove.gif Of course I mean VC's rendition, but even VCS's something special. Las Venturas is probably my second favourite.

Liberty City for me (although the III version with the tunnels and fully built bridge by the end, rather than the LCS one), if judging it as a stand alone city (even if I preferred San Andreas map overall and Vice City as a game)

I'm torn between Liberty or Los Santos. But since I'm into SA now, I voted Los Santos.

I really liked Los Santos, but I just felt at home in Vice City. It was the one GTA that I played the most

Las Venturas for me. It really felt like Vegas. And the exploration of the countryside was in my grasp. The casinos were also extremely fun and my favorite feature. Here's hoping GTA 5 has some sort of gambling.
