Hello,

I was wondering what everyone's daily or part time jobs are if you had any. Just let us know what it is and a bit about what you do.

Thanks
Sapper

I don't have a job, but I'm in a vocational high school and I specialize in electrical engineering. I have passed the first year of it, and three years are left. I have to work four weeks in total in a company that is related to my field, and that within the next three years, in order to finish the school.

I get paid to suck water out of hoses with my eyes closed.

When I graduate I will join the marine corps as infantry, and then eventually will transition into being a border patrol agent.

Construction, mainly building sheds and garages in a warehouse then delivering to the client and assemble it in his backyard.

But I also renovate houses and work on commercial/indrustrial projects.

I work at a grocery store distribution centre, 25 hours a week. I drive forklift and load/unload trucks and sometimes fill order sheets. They love putting me in freezer duty, which I f*cking hate

I don't envy that duty. I got a job once doing basically the exact same thing, and them places are literally freezing (Obvious as it sounds) The one i went to was kept at around -4 without fail. I done my initial induction day and never went back again.

I wouldn't mind a freezing workplace, I'm literally like a human radiator.

Not currently working, just about to finish my first year in college studying Psychology, Sociology, ICT and Law. Going to look for a part time job over the summer months to carry on with next year; just something small like a shop job or something, just so I can afford to keep fueling my car.

I give blowjobs to homeless tramps during the day. It's hard but voluntary work looks great on my curriculum vitae!

LOL biggrin.gif . Ya here I'm pretty sure they still use the old way.

Step 1. Receive shipments frozen.
Step 2. Take out of box
Step 3. Hand to customer
Step 4. Get manager
Step 3. Repeat step 3 and four until you run out then go back to step 1.

Well I've been out of highschool since June 2012. Finally got a job a little over a month ago. It's funny you guys mentioned freezer jobs, that's basically all I do. I work at an ice cream warehouse. Unloading and loading tubs of ice cream all day. Probably spend most of my day in the freezers too. It's miserable. These freezers are kept at about -20 to -25 degrees celsius. Paid minimum wage, but luckily it's only seasonal work. Everyday, I'm contemplating quitting.

One thing that I took away from this experience, I realised I do not want to be doing anything similar to this kind of work for the rest of my life. I better find something that I want to take in college. But, I just don't know what to take yet. I want to find a career that I'll enjoy and hopefully it leads me to California.

on a daily basis?

when I'm not in class or typing away on my thesis for grad school, I'm analyzing the marketing strategies (and learning the business end) of General Dynamics hazardous materials training department that is contracted to the US government. my department works mostly with the EPA and FEMA.

you can learn more about GD here:
http://www.generaldynamics.com

they have an internship partnership with my university.
I doubt I would have this job without the connections of my college.
