Probably like 3.
Although last year, the only games I bought (the first 2 pre-ordered) were Max Payne 3, Sleeping Dogs, Silent Hill 2, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3.

I limit myself to one game a month save for quite and busy times of the year. On average around 8 games a year.

Steam sales mah boi, that is when I go apesh*t and spend all the money I had on games.
last holiday sales I got more than 10 games in my library, which made me broke as sh*t for a while blush.gif. but I will probably get around 3 more games in the upcoming summer sale

Several games a year, depending on the release line-up. This year I'll be buying lots of PS4 games, for example. Jesus I need a job! icon13.gif

Being quite honest here, I buy almost 35 games per year 70% of them being on the PS3 and 20% on the PC, with the extra 10 on my 360

Over the course of 3 years i brought 130 xbox360 games so roughly about 43 games a year. Iv'e now pretty much migrated to PC, i believe i have purchased around 50 plus games in the past 6 months ranging from AAA titles to indie games and kickstarter games. That's not including games i have gifted to good friends and also some members on here. You could probably easyily add another 40 ontop of that figure.

1 or 2 per year, 3 maximum. I prefer to rent linear games like The Last of Us, Splinter Cell, Assassn's Creed, etc... Even though some are great games, I do not feel paying 70$ for 5h hours of playing time. But, as a big hockey fan, I buy NHL hockey every year. GTA and NHL are the only franchises i'll buy every game.

1-3
I suffer from brand/franchise loyalty, so if its not bethesda, fallout, elder scrolls, gta, or rockstar games, i dont buy. Ive bought many hyped up games in the past that turned out to be total dissapointments. After that ive never bought a new game without pirating a copy off the internet first to try out. If i like it, ill buy the original copy and keep it sealed for collection purposes. If i dont like it, i melt it.

So far this year I have bought 43 games on PC. If I exclude games from Humble Bundles then I've only bought 16.

It's cost me $169 so far. But I expect these number to rise come the Steam Summer Sale. wink.gif

Normally not a lot, between 3 - 4 games. Unless there are things that I want on STEAM sales, then I just got batsh*t.

I say about 4-6

It includes Battlefield, Need for Speed, any game from Rockstar, and games I like from Ubisoft. It used to be 6-8. I took control over that though.

Usually around 2. As a teenager without a job the only way for me to get money for games is christmas, birthday and collecting coins. Working really hard on getting a job right now though, because my only real option to continue gaming is to get a PS4.

About 2-5 a year. I don't know but my gaming bug seems to be dying this generation. PS2 I bought 10-15 games a year.

Console generation shifts are very stressful because we need to make the difficult transition, saying goodbye to all of our old games from the previous generation since we'll be mainly playing the new generation. (This is why I want GTAV to release on PS4, so it will be easier to let go of my PS3). Another difficult part, for me at least, is the funds. I'm still relatively young, so I need to save for the console itself as well as the huge lineup of games I want.

Its also my first year buying a console day-1. I bought my PS3 in around 2008, while I already pre-ordered the PS4 ($50 deposited so far).
