All I see here is only complaining and bullsh*t. People doesn't realise coding takes very loads of time to test and finish.

It is not dead.
But is has bugs. Like any other WIP. It is better to wait to see the final work.

It means that current code is too bad and can't be impoved anymore to make it look good.

 

Recoding would make better quality/performance.

^ nope, that mod just strengthen the shadow opacity & shadow draw distance and uses default SA object shadow mesh (which just some objects like lamppost, some trees & bridges but not all), not re-mapping per object's shadow like this mod.

Also what you say , makes sense . But for now leading to one point 
If GTA V PC releases , there would be less respect coming out for this project, people will be busy playing GTA V and other stuffs .

Lets make this project easier to finish

Make the Ones which is important , so it would lag less !

Example - Shadow Mapping,lighting and Water reflection is enough for a great graphics.  :r*:

I think you're wrong about the respect thing,this will be always a well-respected mod,the effort that has been put into this so far remarkable,and the ouput so far is also remarkable,once it will be finished(if at all,and I'm pretty sure it will be).

Now lets end this discussion,and wait for any news or updates.

Guys, guys calm down... mod is not dead.. i have some ideas to implement and something to rewrite... i will tell you when next version is comming and when is release when i have something to show or tell.. just be patient.. anyway gta sa has a lot of preformance problems(no culling, optimization) so i have the same fps on gt 630 1024x768, as on gtx 650 1920x1080 and that's not nice
