You download, install and use grunge brushes.

Some parts are clearly done with the brush tool, the main body could have a crumpled texture overlayed on it too. It wouldn't be too hard to emulate if you have Photoshop.
If you don't, you can request something similar in the requests section.

My guess is on brushes, due to the transparency of the effect or it could have been one image placed as a clipping mask.

Can anyone say a good pack of brunches? I found some but they don't fit so good with the image.

In that list there's a number of crushed and crumpled paper brushes that would work.

And use these grunge brushes sparingly.
