Try playing BF3 or FC3 on console. You cant see sh*t when the action is going on...

FC3 dips to sub 20 when in a shoot out with a group of enemies. BF is the same when there is more than 1 vehicle.
Thats just awful you cant see sh*t..

I still dont get how people can say it did run fine. I first thought it was probably my box. Then I watched several reviews and the DF Framerate check and its clearly the badest frame rate ive seen to date on the 360.

Its not like its unstaple 30 fps, its constant sub 30 fps

Now that the retarded online restrictions are gone I don't feel so bad about buying an Xbox One for DR3.

Why would anyone buy this game? It's published by Crapcom who locks 70% of a game's content on the disc so they can sell it for DLC.

Only Capcom Vancouver , that is the studio that is creating the game , Microsoft is investing in the game to help the studio create the game

I'm a little confused as to what you're supposed to buy to get the day one Frank West/Chuck Greene tribute DLC.

Do you preorder the day one Xbox One or the day one version of DR3?
They didn't make this clear enough.

DR worked so well because of its oddball Japanese humour/influence.
DR2 was a massive step backwards in terms of humour and story.

DR3 looks unpromising. DR2 problems came with Hollywoodising/Americanising the game.
This looks like they've gone ten fold on the Americanising.

I may give this a miss, DR was the reason I bought my 360 and I played that sh*t to death.
DR2 was boring on just the second playthrough.

I thought I was gonna be so hyped for this game but its just not doing anything for me.

I mean really, bike and steam roller combo?

They've gone from unrealistic but funny to unrealistic and over the top.

Has anyone played DR3? I got the season pass which I hope is worth $30. I find something new everyday on his game. I think it will be deep.

I'm currently playing it. Great, fun, game and I'm in no way a zombie fan.

I'm not sure what the season pass gets you though. I didn't know they had anything like that for this release.

I think by the looks of it, it will be four packs with four different characters. The characters look cool as all get out.

I never wanted realism, it just needs that great humour back rather than being big for the sake of being big.

I totally agree and I must say I'm a bit bummed out by that too.

It does seem to be missing that ,Bruce Campbell - Evil Dead, style of humor.

The vastness and volume of the city, zombies, and usable objects is totally impressive.  My only complaint with that is they maybe should have used a different approach to what method they use as indicators.  Every object has a little indicator icon above it, because of that the screen can get way too many hud elements on it.

There is also something about the side mission timers on screen hud that bothers me.  It may just be as simple as placement or general look/feel design...but still.

Look...I am so anti-zombie fiction that I avoided the first Dead Rising like a plague.  I wouldn't even read about the game.  One drunk night I bought DR2 on demand(before it became a free with gold game) just to kill some time.  Turns out I like the series and shouldn't have been so stubborn.

Why did Capcom restrict themselves of potential sales by only releasing Dead Rising 3 on Xbox One?

Obviously Microsoft gave them a big bag of cash.

Well this looks more fun than The Last of Us i would say , obviously not graphic wise but in terms of gameplay and replay value it blows it away and its actually a video game, go figure .

I've played a little of the game, and as fun as it is, it's not a system seller by any stretch of the imagination.

After having played about 6 hours straight today, and a fair amount of hours over the past week...I'm going to say this game is pretty f*cking great.

One thing that may get wrongfully overlooked in this series is its design for replayability.  The leveling up and skill point distribution might be the best execution of that mechanic ever.  I'm only on chapter 4 and I totally can't wait to start from the beginning again so I can do it all again with my new skills and such.

The new console technology hopla and openness of this game compared to the first two make this one way more tense.  Getting from point A to point B is a f*cking mess.  The game really makes you appreciate when you get to an area that "feels" safe for a few seconds.

The cars (whether you mod them or not) are a god send.

Anyway here's some generic gameplay I did.
