Is there a way with Cheat engine.

I'm looking to find the function called by GTA San Andreas when a user clicks the "Save game/Load game" buttons.

I'm not sure if this is possible since cheat engine checks for addresses based on what you tell it?

Increment by 1
Decrease by 1

Perfect for finding an ammo's address etc, but the Save/Load addresses of SA never change? (I'm assuming)

I'm probably chatting bullsh*t lol, but I'm wondering if it can be done.

Thanks guys.

The virtual address of a function will always be fixed. Physical address might change, but you don't need to worry about the distinction. OS takes care of that stuff. And yeah, if you know the address of a function, you can always override its behavior.

Finding it is another matter. You might be able to find it with brake-points, but I'm really not an expert on that stuff.
