Right so I assume everyone on this forum is aware of the movie poster Badfellas, this poster is a spoof of the Martin Scorsese classic Goodfellas. The poster features among other characters Salvatore Leone, he was voiced by Frank Vincent who just so happens to appear in Goodfellas.

But what many of you may not know is that there is another Easter egg to do with one, no two of Martin Scorsese films. If you go to Francis International Airport there is a billboard promoting the taxi firm "Mean Streets Taxis", this is a reference to two Martin Scorsese films Mean Streets and Taxi Driver. Mean Streets was Scorsese's first film and brought Robert De Niro and Harvey Keitel to international fame, both of these actors featured in Scorsese next film. Widely regarded as one if the best films ever made, Taxi Driver.

This ain't new, fella. Almost every billboard in GTA III is a parody of something.

If "new" means 12 years old for you...

I am sorry but there's nothing new to be discovered in Grand Theft Auto III.

Did a search, nothing found. This Easter egg is lesser known than Badfellas egg for example. I checked a lot of the Easter eggs list and this was missing.

No it's not lesser known, it's been listed a billion times including in videos about Easter Eggs, I think GTASeriesVideos included that easter egg in it

Whatever you would say, it was a new thing for me. I didn't know before that 'Mean Street Taxis' would refer to Scorcese's films.

So thanks for posting the information, OP! Have some cookie.gif from me!

I totally support what was said here. I myself discover new things about GTA III (as well as anything else) from time to time - among them things that were supposed to be common knowledge...
