Hi guys, I'm back smile.gifMy new mission series is called ''Swiping Kings: Sequel'' which is a sequel mission pack to one of my earlier mission packs called ''Swiping Kings''. It's finished and it consists of 9 missions of each protagonist's point of view. All my missions are connected to each other, so I suggest you play them by order which you are able to follow in this topic. Also, this is a kind of mission pack I haven't done yet. This mission pack will follow two protagonists, Zack O'Conner and John Skyler (in the previous two mission packs it was just Zack O'Conner). I'll be releasing separate missions for each of the protagonists since in most of the missions, the story of the two protagonists leads you in a different way. So, to sum up, you'll be able to experience every mission (in conclusion, the whole mission pack) from two points of view - Zack's and John's.

SERIOUS NOTE:To all who haven't played ''Swiping Kings: Prequel'' and ''Swiping Kings'' mission packs, I HIGHLY suggest you to play them first because you aren't gonna be able to catch up with this mission pack since it's connected to the previous two. So, I would like you to play that two mission packs first. Summary:

This mission series takes place one month after the events of the original ''Swiping Kings'' mission series. After the big heist in Los Santos and getting the 150 million dollars, Zack O'Conner, John Skyler and the rest of the team were forced to leave Los Santos in order to escape the conviction of Los Santos head court. However, after a month of being a long way from home, the team is brought back together by a man who hunted the team in Los Santos, DSS/FBI special agent Howard Loom. Reasons to refuse Loom's offer - Many. Reasons to accept Loom's offer - Two, but only two are needed. You are able to follow the story from 2 points of view, Zack's and John's.

Characters:

 

Character Name: John Skyler  

Character Description: One of the protagonists/playable characters. He's an amazing street racer and an expert thief, also a professional criminal who escaped prison once. He's not afraid of anything or anyone.

 

Character Name: Zack O'Conner

Character Description: One of the protagonists/playable characters. He is an expert thief and an amazing street racer. He's been living in El Quebrados since the big heist in Los Santos.

 

Character Name: Jason Adams

Character Description: He is John's old friend and a former partner on some previous jobs they did together. He's a great street racer, a cool guy who knows their way with things such as forensics.

 

Character Name: Trey Crome

Character Description: Zack's very good friend. They have known each other since elementary school. They also did a lot of jobs alone together back in Vice City. He's a very good street racer and a pretty tough guy who likes women and party.

 

Character Name: Donny Sanders

Character Description: John's friend. An excelent shooter. He's not afraid to get into fight.

 

Character Name: Chris West

Character Description: Zack's old friend from Las Venturas. He's an electronics expert and a hacker who also organized racing events around Las Venturas.

 

Character Name: Howard Loom

Character Description: He's the FBI special agent from Liberty City who hunted Zack and John in Liberty City and in Los Santos and managed to catch John who later escaped during prisoner transport. He's badass and will do anything to bring a con to justice.

 

Character Name: Natalie Walters

Character Description: She is a new assistant of Howard Loom. She's been in the FBI for a couple of years.

 

Character Name: Dominic Riley He is a former major of the SAS and a Special Ops soldier. He has been operating throughout many major cities around San Andreas, Liberty City, Vice City and Europe.

Character Description: He is a leader of a special tactics team whose goal is to steal 3 military satelite components.

 

Character Name: Julie Dawson

Character Description: She is John's ex girlfriend who was supposedly killed. She's a good racer, a tough girl who doesn't like to be pushed around. She adores speed, cars and breaking the law. She was a part of John's team a while back, but she works for Riley now.

 

Character Name: Danny Smith

Character Description: Chief of the LVPD. He is called by Zack and agent Loom in order to help them get Zack imported into Las Venturas and in the SA State Prison to get more info on Riley.

 

Character Name: Harold Franklin

Character Description: Former weapons and drug dealer from Liberty City who was operating around Las Venturas before Zack and John handed him over to the police and the FBI. The team found out that he's been working for Riley and that he might know something about Riley's plans He's currently in SA State Prison.

Well, I saw it. As for the intro cutscenes missions, they're veeeery good. Unfortuneally, when I'm playing it, due to my lags, especially at the countryside, when Loom almost stops his van and unspawns it, my game crashed, because he was hidded about before 0,0000000001 part of second before finishing at that last, f***ing routepoint, so I haved to skip that part. sad.gif But, like I said, it's good. smile.gif

And about that Theme song. Man, did you haved to bring me my lovely memories with Vice City back? tounge.gif

Finally, i've been waiting for this! biggrin.gif

So as always, it's based on F & F, i could easily tell from the dialogs i heard from the trailers. But thankfully, i still didn't watch the new installment so it's better to not spoil anything.
A nice introduction, so now he needs us, she's still alive and it's going to get twisty. The mission is all cutscenes, great ones. And with the new protag system, it's going to be awesome, i can finally ride John's Cheetah. Though the first mission should've been listed alone, since it got me to download the same one twice.
I think the logo would've looked better if done in a GTA Box Art way, showing the characters in a better way in my opinion.
It's going to be great playing two missions in each release, good luck Jimmy. icon14.gif

About the downloads, yeah, I know, but I didn't want it to look like John's POV doesn't have a prelude/intro mission, so I wrote a note in one of my previous comments that their prelude missions are 100% the same wink.gif

So i played them. As always, great story and cutscenes, don't want to spoil anything. But for now, the protag missions seem to be the same if not only focused on John, i hope it gets different in the next missions. smile.gif

Well, they are pretty much the same since it's the same story, but from 2 different stages. However, I guess you figured out that the things that aren't being shown in one protagonist's story are shown in the other. Also, I think you noticed that already in mission 2 each protagonist's missions kinda fill in each other's gaps, so you can see the absolutely whole story and how everything got into that exact place and time. And yes, after mission 2, there will be major or minor differences in protagonist's stories wink.gif

I'll give you full feedback later, when you release few new missions, but i've already played those four. They were nice, but same, i hope the new ones will be differenet for each portagonist. The rest was good, you never goes out of style Jimmy. Keep it up! icon14.gif

Yeah, well, the first mission was prelude/intro, so it had to be the same. As for the second mission, there were some minor differences since both protagonists are in different situations. As I said, there will definitely be some major and minor differences between the protagonists in the upcoming missions, but most importantly, there will be overlaping between the two protagonists since they are both in the same story wink.gif

Damn man, three (or six) missions a day is too damn high! happy.gif

Well, finally this time the POVs are better, but John's side feels "dominant". tounge.gif The fast time checkpoints were intense while reading the dialogs, but a bit hard, though because of a glitch in SA's timer it got easier. The story feels a lot better now.
The only thing that could improve was the variety in cars, propably using the characters' cars (Zack's Elegy, John's Cheetah, etc) would've been the better option. Also, the AI when going to the FBI HQ, if only you gave them routepoints.

Rating: 9/10

Well, yeah. John is more dominant since he's working to find Julie. She's the person he would die for and it's normal that he works more than anyone in the team to get her back cause he thought she was dead wink.gif

As for the cars, in ''SK: Prequel'', John blew up Zack's Elegy, so Zack doesn't have Elegy anymore. And since they're both (as well as the rest of the team) working for Loom, they must use the cars Loom gives them. Loom forbid them to import their own cars in San Fierro since their cars aren't ''wired'', the Buffalos, which are the FBI's official ''hard-time vehicles'', are ''wired'', so Loom knows exactly where every member of the team is the whole time. Remember, Loom's team consists of criminals. Zack, John and the rest of the guys stole the 150 millions from Luther back in Los Santos and they escaped from Loom. They are still technically wanted by the police, but since they agreed to work for Loom in order to help FBI catch Riley and for getting their pardonance to be free from all the previous charges, they are free to do whatever is necessary to catch Riley. To sum up, Loom gave them FBI vehicles which are wired, so he would be sure that nobody from the team would try to escape from him and run away to a different place again. He doesn't trust them yet. He needs their help, but he still doesn't trust criminals.

I hope this makes it clear why Zack, John and the rest of the team don't have the right to use their own cars.

And yes, I tried to give them route points, but they seem not to follow it after a certain time. Follow player behind was my only option, so yeah.. It can't be perfect.


And good that you mentioned it. This is a NOTE to everyone in the future: WHEN YOU CLICK ESCAPE OR PAUSE ON GTA SA, IN THE MENU YOU HAVE THE ''BRIEF'' SECTION. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO READ THAT BRIEF EVERY TIME YOU SEE DIALOGUES DURING GAMEPLAY CAUSE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO READ AND PLAY AT THE SAME TIME. You can either read (then you'll fail the mission) or you can just play, but then you won't know what the hell is going on. So, the best option is to click pause, read the dialogue in the Brief and get back in the gameplay so you know what to do and what's going on.


Yeah, I forgot. For those who maybe haven't noticed, there are some ''easter eggs'' in both ''San Fierro burnout'' missions. So, spoilers ahead. Don't read if you haven't played the missions yet. If you watch closely, when playing with Zack - At the checkpoint intersection where Zack has to go towards the tunnel next to that car salon and when John answers him via Walkie Talkie that he's right behind Zack, from your right side, you can clearly see that both John and Loom are driving behind you while catching Riley. Also, in the John's POV, also when approaching the intersection from down the street, you can clearly see that Zack is driving right in front of you and enters the tunnel just before you kick in behind him and you can also see Zack driving straight up the road while John needs to turn right at the end of the tunnel.

Those missions are flying beyooooond. But in both 4th missions, I felt something fishy. I mean in one POV we're driving the car by Zack, and in other by John. And probably, in John's, you've spawned Zack 1 objective later at the way back. In the 5th mission, they've done separate things in the same time, and that's what suprised me. And also, I saw first time in that SK trilogy, that you've used a SpaceBar instead the same text displayed between the checkopints of that test drive course. What next? You'll use colours? biggrin.gif

For the 4th mission, it was great, liked the setting in the base. But one thing that bothered me was how it's the same for Zack and John, that wasn't cool, confused.gif i thought you'd give one of them the routepoints.

For the 5th, it was better, this time Zack is more detailed, but i felt you just gave John the test drive to fill in the gap. Anyway, i suggest you replace the car with a new one because the checkpoint won't be in the right place most of the time.

The POV system is struggling to be honest, it doesn't feel like they're going seperate ways and crossing over, just mostly repetetive scenes, i hope it improves.

Rating: 7/10 (POVs lowered it)

@WillBe - Lol, well, yeah. I think I need to explain something, I will in a moment.

@Zizo - Thanks for the critics, man, but I think most of you don't understand what I meant by POV. In this mission pack, Zack and John have almost the same goal: Pardonance. However, John's uplifting thing is that Julie is alive and he's also operating to find where she is and to get close to her again. By that, Zack and John are in the same box, so as for example in mission 4 where at one protag's POV's you're doing something with Zack and in the other you're doing the same thing, but with John. Yes, that's exactly how it's supposed to be cause in mission 4 they are doing the exact same thing. They both talk to each other in the base, they both go to Chinatown together and they both return at the same time, there is no ''in-between'' stuff as in mission 5 where Zack and Trey go on a mission together and John stays in the base. So, yeah.. There is no other option to do in mission 4 other than choosing if you want to do the ''Chinatown'' mission as John or as Zack.

POV's in this context don't mean that the two protagonists will do different things in every mission or that they will go part ways. They will just occasionally do different assignments, but in the same box. That's what I want you to understand. That's why most of the cutscenes overlap. After doing that separate assignments (ex. going to the station/going on a test drive), they both return in the base and experience the same thing.

Also, about the test drive. No. It may seem like it, but it isn't. Remember, John is preparing his car for a street race against Julie and it was important that he tests his car before the race cause it's very important for him to beat her. That's why the timer is set there. Timer shows you: If you don't complete the mission in the time given, it means that John needs to work on the car more to make it faster. Or: If you succeed in completing the race in the time given, it means that John's car is ready and fast enough to beat Julie in a race. wink.gif


Those are the differences. Zack does everything to get close to Riley and to figure out where Riley is and what he'll do next. John is 50% devoted to that, the other 50% goes into devoting himself to get close to Julie.

Update: Both 6th missions and 7th mission (the same for both protagonists) are uploaded. That's it guys ! Final missions are uploaded and this mission series is finished smile.gif Thanks to all who have been giving me feedbacks throughout the releasing of the missions, I hope you had fun playing them smile.gif

Soon I'll release a ZIP file with all the missions in it so you don't have to DL all the missions separately.

Seriously now? Even the original "Swiping Kings" took nearly 2 months for you to complete, and it has less missions than this. It seems Jimmy has finally become a no-lifer.
