In IV, if you had been shot enough, a blood stain would show up. Blood sprayed on the ground as well. In Red Dead Redemption, gunshots were apparent holes in the head and torso. Max Payne 3's gore proved to be an even more detailed version of RDR's. In V, what would you like to see? Spectacular head shots and wounds to the legs where the victim is left crawling or down on his knees like in RDR? I for one want the sense of an actual explosive head shot, not just a blood spray.

I think it's been confirmed that bullet holes are present in the game, You can see it in Franklin's trailer

If you look closely, you can see blood on the dead guys face. When this screen released, big debate about wounds came up.

R* seems to be avoiding direct wounds and such for some reason, maybe they're trying to tone down gore even more?

I think everyone in the community will agree that this is not needed. It is gross and pointless.

I'm not talking about Gears of War type gore. But we have a criminal shooting game, where we just learned a hammer can be used as a weapon. I would disagree that the community wouldn't want to see RDR style gunshot wounds.

That's true, the new trailers had bypassed my mind. In Michael's you can see the sniper wound, very Max Payne-ish. In Franklin's, you can see multiple and their blood spray. If these hold true to release, I will be very satisfied with this little detail.

You need to re-evaluate your life if you think cartoon gore is gross.

I beg to differ. I, however, don't mind. Even though I love L4D2-style limb dismemberment, I don't think it fits in gta, really. Bullet holes and blood splats are essential, however.

Throughout my travels I have come to the conclusion that there is always a 1% that will disagree no matter what. I am not here to argue with you, my brother. I am only here to state what I know

I want to have a fair amount of gore. Like if you run over someone's arm, you can tell it's crushed, and if there are there are chainsaws or just normal saws, you can dismember the bodies. Maybe the gore is similar to Dead Islands gore.

Actually, he is just a troll, his modus operandi is saying something that is really wanted by the community is actually unwanted, and saying that 99% of the fans agree with him and that there is only 1% that disagrees while in reality it's the exact opposite, and you guys are getting trolled hard confused.gif Don't shoot the messenger.

Hmm, MP3 was more realistic regarding bullet holes, but RDR had cooler wounds (looked like exit wounds lol)...
I don't care, as long as it's either one.

The gore is what I want most, and by gore I don't mean liquefying, I just mean reasonable blood and splatter. But I'm also really excited for the running and gunning aspect from Max Payne to be in V. How many times in IV did you want to run after a car shooting, but had to continue to walk and aim?

also they should bring back the exploding heads physics that were in past gtas. and make it more like how it was in manhunt2 and put it in gta5 so that was when you blow somebodys brains out with the shot gun. you will see a huge hole in their skull. lots of blood and chunks of there brains all over the floor. now that would look realistic if you point the 12gauge at there head and pull the trigger.

Not gonna happen though.. The level of gore will probably be on the same level as RDR. Not more than that, I think..
