Source for a trailer or something? A sinopsis maybe?

Perhaps a Max Payne game in the Old West, or desert? I like the idea if it's true.

Perhaps we may get a 'real' Max Payne film rather than that one with Mark Wahlberg as Max *shudders* Still, IMDB is about as reliable as Ol' Jimmy down the pub lol.gif

Edit: Damn forget it I just watched that trailer. Not even worth throwing hot piss on that director if he was on fire.

Edit 2: OK so maybe that was harsh. Still, definitely going to avoid that film, probably when someone tries to sell me it from an overcoat on a street corner.

A Max Payne independent film, haha, interesting name! They even have James McCaffrey as 'the voice'

It's taking a very long time to come out, considering this teaser is from 2007:

Who knows if any of those people are still involved etc, but it's basically a film adaptation of the events after fall of max payne probably.

Been following this for 2 years. It's taking a very long time due to it being an independent film and I believe Fergle Gibson (the director) needs some funds to develop the last remaining negatives of the film.

Also guys/gals, don't be cruel to that guy... independent filmmakers get it really tough and they don't do it for the money; they do it for the love of it.

EDIT: I remember Fergle had a Cease & Desist letter from 20th Century Fox about this film as they wanted it pulled down as they thought it would affect the performance of the Hollywood film. So the movie isn't really about Max himself... it's about a guy who is inspired by the Max Payne character (though technically the character in the film really IS Max Payne but they had to change it due to copyright).

Yeah, seriously, I thought this thing was bumming around since 2005 or something, give it a break. Looks epic.

This sounds like fun. An independent Max Payne movie starring the actual Max Payne if probably more true to the source material than that piece of crap with Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis.

Looks absolutely atrocious. Really, did they go there and use a cheesy voice over guy like that? Are they stuck in the 90's or something?

EDIT: What also worries me is, that this gentleman has his name down as writer, cinematographer, costume designer and many more roles.

The thing that I didn't like is the music in the trailer but it might be better than the old abomination film that was made few years ago.

What do you think it's going to be like, it's a Fanmade project, they don't have millions of dollars. confused.gif

Very curious about this, the Hollywood version was dire.

You don't need millions of dollars to make a good film (Napoleon Dynamite was made for less than half a million). Also, choosing a cheesy voiceover guy isn't a budgetary choice, it's an aesthetic choice and a very cringeworthy one at that.
