We are a little less then 3 weeks away. I thought it would be a good idea now to discuss what to expect, and what we hope for to see and hear. Let's keep this thread going leading up to E3.

About E3:

" E3 is the world's premier trade show for computer and video games and related products. The show is owned by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the U.S. association dedicated to serving the business and public affairs needs of the companies, publishing interactive games for video game consoles, handheld devices, personal computers, and the Internet

E3 takes place June 11-13, 2013, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

E3 draws tens of thousands of professionals to experience the future of interactive entertainment. The most influential people leading the most innovative companies in the industry attend E3 to see groundbreaking new technologies and never-before-seen products for computers, video game consoles, handheld systems, mobile and social, and the Internet.
"

Here are the schedule times :

Thursday June 6th:

Konami Pre-E3 Show
10:00 AM PDT

Monday June 10th:

Microsoft
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM PDT

Electronic Arts
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM PDT

Ubisoft
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM PDT

There is nothing, aside from them saying, "Just kidding about all the DRM, and the always online, and the mandatory Kinect.", that will make me change my mind about the Xbox One. They can say that GTAV will now be exclusive to XB1, that wouldn't change my mind.

Sony can grab Microsoft by the short and curlies, if they come out at E3 and reveal that they're not doing any of that stuff with the PS4.

Nintendo, just needs to come out with some games.

As for other hopes and dreams. I want to see demos of Batman: Arkham Origins and maybe Arkham 3.

I predict PlayStation domination, don't ask me why but I think Sony's got this thing in the bag. Especially after Microsoft's awful demonstration they won't have too try to hard to beat the Xbox One here.

E3 sucks. I'm going to watch this one, though... I need to see what else Xbox ONE has thrown out of the window.

@Post Above: That should be the name of Sony's next console. PlayStation Domination!

Can't wait to see if Microsoft will show some of those 15 exclusives it plans to launch within one year of the Xbox One launch. 8 of them new IPs if I heard correctly, so we can pretty much expect a next gen Gears, Halo, Fable, Forza(already announced), Crackdown. And the possible, Banjo Kazooie, Killer Instincts, Minecraft(?), Perfect Dark, and I have my fingers crossed for *drum roll* Viva Piñata! colgate.gif

It's going to be one of the most memorable E3's in the last 5 years or so without a doubt.
Looking forward to see how Microsoft bounces back after a terrible reveal, those games they wanna save up until E3 better be great.. and hopefully no Usher performance again.

As for Sony, just waiting to see them do what they always do at E3 year in and year out, showing off their amazing exclusives!

What are the odds that MS throws a curve ball and announces two Xbox versions??? The Xbox One which we know of obviously, and another Xbox for the hardcore gamers? Doubtful but what if?

Wait... June 11-13? But I thought SONY's conference is on June 10th. Is the title an error?

It is June 10th, I'm just assuming that 11-13 is the days after the conferences where attenders get hands on previews and stuff.. I forgot

Oh ok, I see.

Anyways, I have 1 major hope for this year's E3. For a certain game to be announced. This game has been in development for years in EA Los Angeles.

Like Lightning said, PlayStation will definitely dominate, it'll be interesting to see if Rockstar show off Agent, although it might not happen.

I'm waiting to see which mega corporation I'm going to be giving thousnds of ££££s to over the next decade. I expect to be dazzled.

I am just fuming at the moment with MS. Over the past few years there's been an increasing disconnect with hardcore, and even casual gamers which was diplayed for everyone to see at their unveiling of the xbox one the other day. They don't get it. They think the core audience are those that buy annual franchise titles from the big publishers and nothing else. Microsoft has become out of touch - are they really trying to sell us the most expensive TV remote in history?.

Sony on the other hand, have re-emerged from the last gen hitting all the right notes about how it's all about the games. I can only admire the passion of their chief designer Mark Cerny has for the console - and he's actually making a game for it. I honestly don't know how MS can pull this one around - it's certainly not FIFA Ultimate Team or CoD map packs.

That would be amazing.

I'm already converting over to PlayStation due to the always on Kinect +mic, which is awful. But I still would like to see what Xbox will be revealing. E3 is their last attempt to WOW their consumers. The reveal was shameful.

Yeah I understand. But the reveal was targeted for potential new buyers and the consumers who prefer multimedia entertainment. So I can understand why gamers are upset. E3 should wow us!

Yeah.. I just don't like the Kinect idea, I'm sure they'll stop at nothing come E3. I've been with Xbox since Day 1, though I've only been on Live for alittle over 5yrs. I'm rather excited for both companies, PS and Xbox. I'd like to see what each is offering, we'll see!

Same position as you, I'm not trying to miss anything this gen, will most likely end up owning both next gen consoles at one point.

Am I alone in hoping there's a new Kid Icarus game? In general though, I really want Nintendo to try and approach a more mature demographic.
The N64 proved, categorically proved, that Nintendo's family focus can coexist with more mature games like Killer Instinct and yet ever since that console they've seemingly given up trying. I want to get back on the Nintendo bandwaggon, but I want a console that appeals to both my desire for darker, more adult games as well as solid, bright Nintendo classics.

What can I say? I'm willing to be impressed and I'm willing to buy a Wii-U, but they need to shift their focus to a wider demographic.

Someone put the conferences times and links in the 1st post once you've found 'em, for easier navigation. icon14.gif

And yeah, the Sony and MS conferences are June 10th, they always are a day before the official start.

The only mention it will get is if either it's revealed that Sony or Microsoft have some sort of exclusivity to DLC, or it's going to be on a next gen console. The former more likely than the latter.

I hope for a Fallout 4 announcement at E3 this year, it seems pretty unlikely I've got to say. But after seeing numerous of rumors and teases regrading an in-coming announcement of Fallout 4? I reckon it maybe a huge surprise, just a thought. smile.gif

I'm most excited for Sony's confrence due to the PS4 and that we will finally get to see Destiny in action. Other titles I'm excited to see are Metal Gear Solid, Watch Dogs, New Final Fantasy, Dark Souls II and hopefully Halo 2 Anniversary or Halo 5.
