Hello everyone
I am curious as to why the controls in this game were changed .In Gta3, VC,LCS you could use the D-Pad to control your player . Not sure about VCS haven't played it yet .
I for one much prefer driving with the D-Pad .
I know in SA the D-Pad is now used for other things but they could have easily left it how it was and used the L3 button for these new options .
Did people complain about the D-Pad ???
Was there an uproar of gamers wanting the controls changed ???
Who decided this and why ???

Just wondering how everyone else felt about the change and which they prefer

I don't know what source your San Andreas game is. But, the D pad does control movement just like the Left Stick.

I know that you use a PC Joypad but on PS2 and Xbox (I may be wrong on the latter) to D-Pad toggles radio stations and is not available to control the vehicle with.

Wow I am surprised not much info on this topic .
Maybe I am just so used to the old school type controllers where all movement was done with the d-pad .
I suppose it wouldn't make a difference to new generation gamers .
