If you butter him up enough, Fuzz, he'll take a bubble bath with you. I've seen it happen. I used to have pix, but I've misplaced it deep within my Connection-members-in-sexually-compromising-situations archive.

It's the fourth installment in a series about distant expressions of sorrow.

Yeah I got that, but anything other than map size is unknown and I don't feel like using Google. You guys heard any news of it in regards to other things or not?

Nah, not me. I don't care much for the series, but Blood Dragon was awesome.

I never played the DLC because my PC still isn't fixed with Far Cry on it along with other games.

Blood Dragon was awesome indeed.

I had never played the original Far Cry, but FC3 is one of the better open-world FPS in recent memory.

and I know it's got some issues, but I still enjoy FC2 actually.

the African bush is actually a very unique setting. there's some gorgeous moments driving through the desert sand dunes in the early hours of the morning on your way to assault a rebel drug lord whose taken over a converted fertilizer plant on the outskirts of a mud village.

FC3 is the more polished game, but it's also much more generic.

which is why I'm really looking forward to Far Cry 4. the setting and themes feel a lot more creative. I don't remember the last game that took place in the Himalayas / former Tibet.

I didn't play 2 or the original. I will pre-order 4 on the 25th along with GTAV for the PS4.

I tried to play Far Cry 2 but but too frustrated at the checkpoints always reloading and just ragequit in the end. Far Cry 3 was fuggin' awesome. I don't pre-order games anymore, I did last-gen and the perks you get aren't really that enticing, I have some DLC for Watch Dogs I got for free and I'm not interested in it tbh.

I don't pre-order for the bonus stuff, I just pre-order to have it delivered to my house so I don't have to go to the store. :)

It's funny, in the time it took you to ask all those questions, you could have just Googled it.

Thank you for googling that for me. :^:  But for real though, I'm getting lazier with the day.

Tell me about it. I thought it seemed like a really good game at first, but it gets tiring real quick. Possibly the most tedious game I've ever played.

I don't really look into games to find out information anymore. I've even stopped pre-ordering games. along with GTA, not many games now that get me all hyped up for.  :/

I'm boycotting pre-orders from now on. It encourages developers to release content specific to certain shops and frankly, that's just not on. I want incentives to buy the game (though a game really should just be incentive enough), not incentives to buy from a specific retailer.

The more we buy into that sh*t, the more we will suffer for it.

I don't care for that as a marketing ploy either. It's not that it makes me go out of my way in this day and age. I can pre-order on a website and have a game shipped to my door if I'm really too lazy to go to the store. However it does force my hand to support one business or another. I for example will not shop at Wal-Mart just because I f*cking hate that company. So If they get a nice pre-order item, I just have to ignore it and miss out (which usually isn't a tragedy, but unnecessary at any rate). Beyond personal preference it could also have more far reaching implications. If the industry decides it wants to hurt a retailer they could potentially use that system to ensure one retailer consistently outsells the other. I doubt it would do enough damage to force a business under, but it could be used as a tool to control how games are sold to consumers amongst different stores.

No, no I don't like it. Everyone should be selling the same product. They are already hitting us on the back end with DLC on every game that comes out.

You know what used to be great about games? When you bought  it, you had it.

You didn't have to jump through financial and metaphorical hoops to play the whole game.

DLC: it will be the games industry's ultimate demise, even though it was conceived to revive it. Here's a concept, make a f*cking good game and people will buy it.

Make a mediocre game and it'll break sales records (which were set by its previous year's nearly-identical installment) and get a 10/10 "It's okay" from IGN.

Never completed it, but it seemed to have promise. Then Skate came out and it was the best skateboarding game ever, then Skate 2 came out and it wasn't as good then Skate 3 came out and it was pretty sh*t and there's never going to be another Skate and that f*ckING SUCKS.

Because a PS4 version could be f*cking excellent.

Skate 3 was such a disappointment, why did they insist on beating their cocks against the ol' "the quicker it comes out the more money we'll print" is beyond me.

Yup. Skate looked promising, but then it turned out rather bad. A next gen restart of one, or even both would be decent.

Skate 1 and 2 were alright but 3 was kinda a flop. As for the Tony Hawk series, why don't they make an Underground 3? But to be completely honest, I think that the franchise is dead. The early games were good but stuff like Project 8 were just sh*t.

Yes. It's weird but that game seems to have formed the basis of my music taste. Refused, Jane's Addiction, and Deltron 3030 are all the first bands I got into in their respective genres. It also had Mastodon long before I got into them.

Those two games were huge for me back in the day. I'm not even a skateboarder. By the time Project 8 or whatever and Skate came out, I wasn't into it anymore, though.

I used to play some skateboarding game when I was young on my PS2 or 1, I don't exactly remember. But it was quite fun, even though I wasn't into skateboarding myself.

Have yet to own a Skate game since I avoid buying EA but did play one at a friend's house. I liked it but one of my favorite parts about Tony Hawk games was the soundtracks. Then both franchises just suddenly stopped being made for some reason. Tony Hawk because of the lousy games with a board peripheral. No idea what stopped Skate.
