My fellow forumers, I come to you today to tell you that we, the Forum Bureau of Investigation have been involved a deep undercover operation within the New York City Connection, known to have ties with the Genovese crime family. What we have discovered cannot be disclosed in detail in the interest of public safety, but we can now assure you all is under control. We have seized many of their assets and will be taking this next week to untangle the vast network of shady, anti-GTAF, possibly terrorist, underground operations. Any and all cooperation will be of great use. Any found in the obstruction of justice will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Thank you.

Life is like wrestling a rockstar over a slice of pizza and you say "David Bowie, that piece is mine." Suddenly the world shatters and you fall through a rushing vortex of light and sound seeming to portray something familiar but yet entirely alien. You meet Major Tom at Little Caesar's and talk about the good old days before everything went south. The world seems to shimmer in the light of a thousand suns as new revelations strike you up, down, in, and out constantly until nothing else exists but your own pummeled purgatory. The sun sets and dawn breaks and you are back on your apartment floor coughing into your shag carpet. You look up with sweat stinging your eyes and see David Bowie sitting there, laughing, "You at the last piece five minutes ago".

I think life is more like walking home from a hard day's work and as you pass by a neighbor's house, a woman greets you from her porch and offers you lemonade, and you say "that's mighty fine of you, ma'am, but I really must be getting home" but then suddenly it starts to rain, almost as if God is tempting you, but you go inside against your better judgment, and she starts getting all friendly to you, rubbing on you and winking, and you try to say "I'm a happily married man, ma'am, and this isn't right" but then suddenly an earthquake happens and your clothes fall off and she starts taking her clothes off and you're thinking...

Wait, no, that's just a typical summer afternoon in the American southeast.

There is a distinct lack of alligators in your story, son. I question the authenticity of your musing. mad.gif

I got it for 360 and don't like it much. It goes overboard on the pop culture references. I may pick it up on PS3 if and when they do a DLC edition and give it another shot, though.

@Andy: I thought I implied well enough that I was the alligator.

Howdy and welcome guys..

Yeah, Borderlands didn't impress me too much, though it could be useful for a good time waster if that's what you're on the hunt for.

So, is this the Connection's attempt to return to its multiplayer roots? If so, best of luck lads.

So this is the un-official version of The Connection?

Hopefully I'll get to mingle with some of you guys on the PSN Side.
I've already met a few of you via the forums, or the GTAF Minecraft Server.

The topic looks quite marvellous, it was well worth the wait to see it. I've been excited about the idea for weeks.

My first thought when reading the member list and favourite games was: "I'm going to kick Sakuya's ass on Black Ops II". wink.gif

I'd like to welcome our first recruit, Prominent Fate! He's been waiting patiently for this, much longer than any sane man should ever wait for an internet gang.

I need to get myself hooked up online again in time for GTA V. Anyone play NBA 2K11/13 much? I suck at it, so you can beat me anytime you like.

I've got it stashed away somewhere in my pit of untouched games. I'll try and dish it out to put a slam-dunk out on you.

As someone who doesn't like basketball, I think basketball videogames are genius. Perfect sports game for 2-4 players. I've only ever played NBA Jam on the Sega Genesis and the original NBA Street for PS2, and it's awesome for two-player fun.
