Reset the games picture settings back to default. On the TV recall it if possible and the mode I would select would be movie. Turn sharpness to 0 as you don't want to add artificial effects to the picture. While you're in the settings I would recommend turning off noise filter and turning off overscan. On your Samsung remote their will be a button called P.SIZE. Set it to "fit" to turn off overscan.I assume you're using HDMI with your PS3?

Interesting settings... but doesn't the texts get blurry with sharpness set to zero? Also, in your PS3, which resolution do you use? I use 720p because at 1080p/1080i the game gets upscaled and ruined by aliasing (at least that's what I heard).

You don't need to change IV's Contrast, Brightness, or Saturation. The default settings are perfectly fine. What you need to do is calibrate your TV. I recommend AVS HD 709. If you have a flash drive or something, you can just put the Basic Settings videos on it and copy them to your PS3. For the PS3 you need to turn Super-White on, and set RGB Scale to Limited. But I think that's only if you burn the calibration videos to a Blu-Ray and watch them on the PS3.

If you don't have a flash drive, I'm pretty sure there is a thing in the PS3 that lets you connect to Windows Media Center. You can just stream the videos from that.

By the way I use the default Standard picture mode, but I change the Sharpness to 20. The only thing that bothers me a bit in that game is the aliasing but there's no way to get rid of them by just changing your TV settings. I wish there was a way to soften them a bit...

The settings for every TV are different. Even if it's the same make and model. At first on my Samsung TV, 0 sharpness looked really blurry but that's because it was on like 40 before.
EDIT I done a little image where one part has added sharpness. I don't know if it's the same as TV sharpness but try turning your TV sharpness down and play a few games. Your eyes will soon get used to it and it looks better without.
