No mention of You're My Best Friend? Damn!

That, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Bohemian Rhapsody are probably my favorites.. Never really thoroughly went through all of their songs though.

1. Bohemian Rhapsody: It's their magnum opus, so I think it would be rather crazy not to have this in my top three regardless of my personal feelings towards it, but it functions on almost every level that a song can function at: pseudo-operatic lyrics mixed with some sort of glam-rock and not to mention the guitar solo which wouldn't be out of place in any rock anthem. It manages to make your hair stand on end almost effortlessly at several points, and is almost a staple at late-night end-of-party singalong sessions.

2. We Will Rock You: Just a great stadium rock piece that never fails to get people bashing tables/legs/floors/whatever else is to hand. It's pretty uncomplicated when it is compared to Bohemian Rhapsody, and yet there are many occasions when you just want to shout -- something that this song is great at making you do. Excellent for letting off steam.

3. These Are the Days of Our Lives: Poignant, especially the video which contains the last words which Freddie Mercury ever spoke on camera. Pretty much a stock song for any video featuring childhood montages -- as the people at the Diana memorial concert knew all too well.

1. Bohemian Rhapsody: There's no real explanation, because almost everyone and their mum's mum's mum knows exactly what kind of magical, creative, empowerment this song has left upon millions of people. It is the epitome of Queen and is a song of complete lyrical amazement and wonderful guitar solos.

2. The Show Must Go On: A powerful song which resonates with me in many ways because of the backstory. Brian May was worried that Freddy's AIDS was too far gone for him to be able to finish the physically-demanding vocal lines because of how weak Freddy was. To May's surprise, when the time came to record the vocals, Mercury consumed a measure of vodka and said "I'll f*cking do it, darling!" then proceeded to perform the vocal line in one take without problems.

3. I want to break free! I don't know why I love this song. Maybe because it's nostalgic for me. It takes me back to a younger time when my grandparents were alive -My nan loved Queen, but that was contested by my grandfather who knew all the songs, even when drunk- and maybe that's why it's an important song for me.

No particular order, but I'd have to choose Don't Stop Me Now, Seven Seas of Rhye, and Under Pressure.

I'd describe myself as a casual Queen fan, gotta love Brian May's guitar tone!

Can't decide for the third. Many good songs.
