GTA6 should be like that. I think realism is never too much for GTA. Look at the old games and how much progress has been made.

you'll speak differently when you'll hit that wall by accident! or because you lost control for a sec... bored.gif

Full video:

I like it, but i guess Jantsu92's right: no way to get this to work with PS3 and Xbox 360.

P.S. Stop whining and learn to drive suicidal.gif .

Yeah, I remember PS2 era games, and how the car damage was not morphing, but was just a set of denting parts. I always wanted it to be more like The Getaway, and then IV came out, and I was pretty happy about it. I use the realistic damage mod on the PC version and I love the strategy of the effects of damaging your car too much and how you have to deal with it.

I hope they've improved the damage even more with V. I just can't wait. Seriously, I cannot wait.

This has been brought up sooo many times. As always: no. Too realistic for the sake of realism.

I wouldn't mind the damage being a little like Rigs of Rods, but like in the gif, nah.

Would make car crashs alot better i think. I also think that if the drivers side takes a big high speed hit that the player should be hurt or even killed. Driving a 18 wheeler would be alot of fun.

While I like the physics in the GIF you posted it is not viable for a GTA game...

no car would be able to be driven....

Old news.

It's a great damage model, but the physics would need some tuning so that vehicles aren't as soft as they are in the vid/IRL.

GTA's damage model could sure be better, but that's a little too squishy.
