That was really f*cking awesome.
Literally... The writing was so much better and the effects... Oh man!
Absorbing Man was done really well... The makeup was good and they didn't skimp on the transformation effect.
They didn't really skimp on anything except for the smoke grenade, really (Unless smoke grenades make a mushroom cloud). The shooting (The muzzle flash... Most shows skimp on that. Like AoS season 1) and the cloaking was pretty good, too.
I don't really know if there's anything to Spoil ...Except for the Fitzsimmons thing. That was really good, too.
I had the biggest smile on my face when Absorbing Man picked up the chain and ball... I still can't get over how much I like Absorbing Man.
Now, one other thing I don't like, other than the smoke grenade is:
And the intro really got me excited for Agent Carter. I wasn't too sure about Agent Carter before, but now I'm really into it. I trust that, if it's like this, I'll really like it.
Speaking of that intro. This is what my gripe with Gotham was... This gave us a buffer zone. It showed off stuff that tied into the main storyarch, it involved things we knew and it acted as a buffer zone.
But as DarthYenik said before. Making a great pilot is easy... Season 1 had a good pilot (This one's infinitely better) but the second episode was awful.
But I am very hopeful.
Bonus: It seems that this has been the year of awesome villains.
Just, awesome villains all around. TV Shows and movies.
