| I would say Italian and Irish mafia. Also the rumored Canadian mafia if it exists.|
^ Why didn't I think of that?
The Canadian Mafia is the same as the Italian Mafia in Canada. it's called the Rizzuto crime family, here's an interesting doco on it.
To answer your question, being from Italy, Italian organized crime has always interested me the most. It's not what most people think, the Mafia sure engages in many criminal activities, but it's the economy and politics where it's true powers lie. There was an interesting documentary on Europe's biggest cocaine traders the other night called the Calabrian Mafia or Ndrangheta, Italy's most powerful Mafia. Take a look at it, some of the scenes look like they're in Iraq or something, not a developed country like Italy. It's also nothing like the Italian-American mafia...
here's another for those interested on Italy's Bloodiest Mafia, the Camorra.
These groups also have very close ties with the Mexican and Colombian cartels, a recent report in Italy also estimates Italian Mafia groups as a whole earn somewhere within 100 billion euros, That's a lot of money!
