Funny thing is that Robert De Niro was in Both movies and they both look like they took elements from both movies from Frank Cullotas life lol

I don't think Michael hates his son.... they are spending time togeather, they just went on a bike ride, this is after that in the trailer

Micheal doe not hate Jimmy but he would leave his empire to him either nor his Knowlege of Robberies Jimmy does not seem interested nor ready for that type or work nor responsibility hence the statement Franklin the Son I always wanted. Most criminals want to pass down there Knowledge wot the younger generation.

Just realized this is probably Jimmy's room notied the xbox rip off under the tv and the poster at the top right. Smashing his tv is probably Michaels wy of getting him to be more productive with his time.

Michael is Based off of Frank Cullotta http://en.wikipedia..../Frank_Cullotta He will be from Las Venturas and Trevor will be one of former member

Hmm, the '95 movie Casino was based off him. Again, Robert De Niro played him, so the resemblance is also here. But Culotta is not into bank robberies I think, he was into some stuff with casinos (hence the name of the book and the movie). If LV was in V I'd say it's him, but it isn't.

remember Michael says on 1st trailer "Why did I move here" and blabla, being from Las Venturas is just part of the story, it doesnt mean we must have Las Venturas just because protoganist come from this city. If you remember CJ come from Liberty City, however there was a just small piece of this city entereble just in one mission

Just noticed something from the trailer for Michael, may not be a direct reference to an old school thing, but I'm taking it as that.
Nostalgia, it made me smile anyway!

Nope, A year or so ago there was a rumor that R* were producing almost full length in game movies for a future release, i'm not sure about the full length part but it looks like the rumor was right about movies coming to GTAV TVs and possibly cinemas.

Didn't say it was L.A.N and I don't think it is either. I was saying no to you asking if it had been confirmed.

The thing I don't like about Michael is that he can't say what he's talking about:

"You know, that 'thing'"
"I want something that isn't 'this'"
"I really want the other 'stuff' too"

No wonder his therapist struck him off

Not sure if you know this, but you can't talk about criminal activities with therapists. That's why Michael is being so ominous. Tony Soprano does the same thing with his therapist.

EDIT: It does seem like he has a hard time expressing himself though.

totaly agree with you both

Just did a SOPRANOS marathon (i do it every year..) and every made men use "thing"...

As in "This thing of ours"....

As in the translation from the italian "La Cosa Nostra"...

And the way Michael is dancing around the words with his therapist is exactly like Tony Soprano with Dr Melfi..

if this is true, then maybe michael is somewhat connected to the italian mob

...You're saying, because Michael is both unwilling and unable to talk about criminal activity with a therapist, he's connected to the Italian mob. Just stop.

From what I understood of Sopranos, a therapist is obligated to keep secrets of criminal activity quiet on behalf of her client only until someone's life might be endangered.

Michael's monologues seem to be reminiscent of movies where the main character tells their story to the audience. This kinda has me wondering could this game be a story like that and despite there being three characters he is actually the main character and everything ends badly for everybody except for him. Its worth thinking about it at least.

Probably,

I guess something will happen to his kids, and Michael will be very upset and revenge his kids.
Or something like that

Do you remember GTA IV trailer one or the Niko trailer? They both sounded like voice-over narration too, but they were all quotes by him at one point or another purposefully cut together to give that vibe.

Yeah I know but this could be clouding people's judgement a little. Possibly an intentional move by Rockstar if what I'm saying is true.

One of the interesting things about Michael is that he is protected by the FIB. I am wondering how they will factor into the story.

They never said he was protected by the FIB. They said he made a deal with them in the past.
