It's weird though when you go play MW3 it looks really choppy graphically compared to MW2. I've had a lot of people agree with me on this. I guess it's just because it wasn't the OG IW who created it. I'm not quite sure. BO2 looks a lot smoother than MW3. Can definitely tell it's an upped BO1.

Anyway...regardless of all that. I really hope they pull out some amazing graphical power with the new engine.

And the maps on MW1 definitely were a lot different than we see today. Much more areas to look out for in those maps. I'm just hoping we see some more complex maps instead of three main routes. Throw in some more. Make it more intense. Plus the talks of traps I'm not so sure how far they'll go with that.

Graphics are my biggest wish for Ghosts.
I'm sick of playing these old graphics on my PS3. PC version not look much better either,

Playing MW3 tonight and the campers are out in the 100's. Hate that sh*t so much.
I hope Ghosts has a special game mode or playlist where if you sit completely still for a certain time you die.

But on the plus side, when they all camp together it makes it a bit easier to grab a multi-kill.

Did you play WC3 mode in Counter Strike 1.6?

Red big circles that beamed around a target when people camped for too long?

That is what I'd like introduced for Call of Duty. Kill campers.

I enjoy killing campers too much for them to get rid of it. Which won't happen anyway. It's part of the game.

it's indeed fun to kill them. But do you enjoy getting killed by a camper while capturing, doing objectives or being on a high killstreak tounge.gif

Obviously camping is the player not necessarily the game, and i know in most instances it will never stop.
But if there was a specific game mode that punished camping, I'd be all for it.

Camper's don't usually affect me much anyhow. I always have my eyes all over the place while running and gunning. And I flank a lot. Even when they do manage to get me, it's a mission for me to go get revenge on their asses. It's fun.

The thing I don't like is spawn killers. That needs to get fixed somehow. Yknow....spawn protection besides when from a tac insert...like it used to have....yeah, put it back in.

I hope it's another step forward from the rest in the series.

I don't want to see the same engine from MW3 and BO2.

I just hope the new engine will not include a "Slide to cover" maneuver, which I'm hearing rumors it will, purely for the fact that i have never got along with a slide to cover movement in any game.

They wont show gameplay 2morrow which is pretty lame imo. Hopefully they show some on E3 like usual. But tbh, I think the Graphics wont make a big step although they use a next gen engine. I mean you cant recognize much on this 3 sec clip but it defenitly has the same old style as it seems. I hope they graphics are so different that I dont notice that its CoD when I see it the first time. And hopefully they have a proper soundengine with proper gunsounds this time

Slide to cover is something that should be considered as a basic feature for modern FPS games. I mean... MoH WF is the only one of the "popular" shooters that implemented this and others should do it too.

And on a sidenote... already saying this game looks good by just seeing a couple of wireframe animations and whatnot and a wireframe of a pre rendered ingame building that explodes? Seriously? And you SERIOUSLY think they still can get away with the fact that a f*cking weapon has a VERT GRIP and the animation still shows the playermodel holding it by the MAGWELL???

We'll see... I highly doubt there's much of a "new engine".

It is something that would make staying alive easier, and i wish i could get along with it.
But usually i end up sliding into cover when i don't want to and sliding out of cover when i don't want to.

Not that it is the games fault its just me being a retard. But if i got use to it, it would be useful to have.

Activision already said they wont show a demo. So theyll show the reveal trailer. They dont even have time as the event is k ly 1 hour long and MS wants to get the focus on the new console only. They already said that they wont show much games either. Thats all saved for E3

By "see it live" they're referring to the live event since it's streamed I guess. Tricky wording on their part. I'll take a real trailer though. The teaser was horsesh*t.

The event is 2 hours long not 1 hour , and if they want to show a lot of things , CoD is just a little bit to show , they must show us Forza 5 and Halo 5 , DeadRising 3 and new IPs to give people what they need , and I know they confirmed to show exclusive at E3 but we need new exclusives tomorrow to live up to E3

Honestly, "slide to cover" really isn't something that belongs in an FPS game. The "lean and peak" system (like in SOCOM and MoH 2010's campaign) and what I'll just call the "reach-around" system (Far Cry 3 and Red Orchestra 2) are far superior.

Black ops 2 had a new engine. (supposedly)
But Ghosts is said to have a next generation engine. How far different that will be remains to be seen. But that is official details so we will have to judge once we play.
