Man most of SA's interiors are just the same copy & paste used over and over again. VC's interiors are far more unique and less repetitive. SA doesn't have an airport interior despite having 3 airports.. wink.gif

Quality over quantity.

To sum up the "Which GTA is best" sort of topics:

As Tommy Vercetti once said: "I guess that's a perspective thing."

As Carl Johnson once said: "I appreciate your input, but please, f*ck off."

What about Tommy's mansion, the Malibu Club, the mall, the airport (already mentioned I know, but worth mentioning again) the various stores, the abandoned mansion on Prawn island, cop station etc?

I mean what do they class as then? You can walk inside them and see objects around. What's not "real" about them?

In VC there is no diference between interiors and Exteriors, that what I mean.

SA for me. Purely because it was bigger and more advanced. There was a lot more to do as well.

Although I loved the 80s vibe of VC.

I honestly think it's a pretty dumb thing to say, VC also had heavens, and hidden interiors.

San Andreas is the far better game. Firstly let's ignore the huge beautiful state that the game is set in. Even if San Andreas was just Los Santos and it's surrounding countryside like we are going to see in GTA V it's still a hands down better game. Los Santos is a far more engrossing and interesting city to play in than Vice City which was pretty bland in my opinion. Further the cast of characters in San Andreas was more entertaining and robust. Hell I still quote Big Smoke, "all you had to do was follow the damn train" and other funny quotes just from the opening part of the game to this day. The world and characters that surrounded CJ just in the first part, let alone the rest of the game, send it over the top of Vice City to me which failed on having an interesting city and interesting characters.

Both are awesome games but I prefer San Andreas by far.

- Better atmosphere (90s west coast & San Fierro > everything)
- Better soundtrack (both are great, though - I'm just mainly a hip-hop guy)
- More diverse and interesting characters
- More features
- Prefer the story (love how varied and long it is, more replay value too)

I can go on but you get the idea. Everything others prefer VC to SA for, it's the opposite with me.

Speaking of interiors, my only gripe with the VC ones is that they are open. In SA, it feels like a safe heaven where you can chill even if you have a bunch of stars. In VC, cops will be crawling all over your mansion.

I second this.
I also wanna give a mention to Rosenberg and Zero.
Zero was annoying, but in he was an "unforgettable annoying" kind of guy.
The funniest part is that most of the SA Fanboys hate him, just because they lack skill to pass his missions, all of them were fun and easy, maybe Supply Lines... were hard until I got the grip of flying airplanes, but they were still fairly easy.

Yeah VC absolutely has true interiors than SA. SA's interiors are just 'floating' and no exteriors can be seen. IMO alone, VC's interior resembles that of IV interiors.

Atleast with VC the transition between exterior and interior is somewhat realistic despite having a loading time and you can see outside.

SA's "shoebox" interiors suck.

I love SA's interiors (except the windows not allowing you to look outside.) It feels like a different, safe world from the rest of the state.

Helps that I often fantasize about living in a home similar to them in the real life counterparts of the SA cities.

How about no?

The only reason why people like Tenpenny so much is his voice actor. Tenpenny as a character wasn't that interesting and in addition he was appearing from time to time giving you sh*t and you couldn't do much about that. Tenpenny was annoying at best, but he wasn't that memorable as some people are trying to say.

In fact SA hasn't have that many memorable characters. Mike Toreno, Woozie and Maccer were memorable (the latter mostly about his issues and not character traits). The rest unfortunately got lost somewhere in the process.

Yeah, when you walk into a Gun store, windows you saw outside are just gone. Same with the back door with CJ's house, only seen in the interior.

GTA Vice City is much better in almost every-way. Like I said before, the cars in GTA San Andreas looked like plastic in my PC game.
GTA Vice City has this incredibly good mission build up. While in GTA SA you stay forever in Los Santos and those boring forest city's

The gangs were also much better in GTA VC, Diaz gang, Vercetty gang, Haitians, Cubans. While for GTA SA they had boring gangs who looked all alike only different colors. (Ballas and GS Members couldn't be more the same.) The only gang I was interested in was the triads and the mafia.
Besides they used the same 4 skins for all three mafia families, while they used to be different in every other GTA. (such as the Leonies were dressed black and Forelli's were dressed with colored suits)

Not to mention what kind of crap you had to do to make the 100% in GTA SA, such as pass all tests at boat school... Come on, the game became work after a while instead of having fun.

In GTA Vice City, most of the buildings that you can enter don't have interiors, they are actually part of the exterior. Only buildings such as the Vercetti Estate, the Ocean View Hotel and the North Point Mall do have interiors which you can notice when you enter them - a loading screen appears for a few seconds. The system works slightly different in San Andreas; the interiors are located under the map and not inside the building so if you enter a building, you'll be spawned into an [random] interior under the map. If you watch the first trailer of San Andreas, then you will notice that the savehouse in Mullholland has interiors that can be seen from outside and the windows are transparent! I'm not sure if that was just some sort of test for that particular savehouse or if all buildings worked fairly the same way. It's certainly interesting to think about it. The interior system of Vice City is clearly better, in my opinion.
