Hello there, I was wondering if anybody could help me on a problem I am having with MEd.

I decided to make a little map mod, nothing big, just fill up that empty space in the building opposite the TV station in Downtown. I do this fine in MEd (I got nowhere for a while with making my own IPL so in the end I gave up and just edited the Downtown IPL instead.

So I get the game running and go to the building I placed the items in to see if they are there...well, yes and no.

Here are some images of both in MEd and in game

In game

I am aware that there is an invisible wall in the windows, could that be what's blocking some of the items?

Another thing to probably add is that I had to use Stevies limit adjuster so the game wouldn't crash.

If anybody has any ideas and can help then I'd be very appreciative. Thanks in advance to anyone who might help!!

IPL
CODE
ID #, DFF Name, Interior # (VICE ONLY), X-Coord, Y-Coord, Z-Coord, ScaleX, ScaleY, ScaleZ, RotationX, RotationY, RotationZ, RotationR
The interior number allows models to be invisible until a mission script command loads their interior, making them visible.

did you set the interior number to 0?

Indeed, all of their interior numbers are 0.

I wanted to add some neons to the building, so I did and I made the time set 22 so I could see them and what not...and what do you know, all the chairs disappeared. It seems that at night they "turn off". But I don't see why they should (as like you say, they should be set to 0, which they are) and they spawn at day time when ever I go into the Ocean View hotel (Yeah I stole them from there)

But yeah, everything is set to 0, things that are disappearing and things that aren't disappearing.

*Edit*

Well, it appears that if I get to the building just before 10pm the tables and chairs will remain there and even when I drive away and come back they are still there. BUT if I arrive at night, or load a save set at night time and get there in the night (All after 10pm) they won't show up.

Oh well, I'm taking a rest from it now anyway...for some bizarre reason my mod makes huge chunks of downtown just rotate...it's weird. Oh well, at least I'm sensible enough to keep back ups. Taken it out for now.

*Edit again*

Ok so I went back to it, it turns out that I had to make it night in MEd and then place the items down. Now they show up all the time. Also the spinning chunks of buildings was due to me messing with the downtown IPL. I have since put the clean one back in and made the restaurant all over again..THIS TIME it finally showed up in the game.

I have the mod waiting approval right now
