I already said goodbye. It got boring so quickly. There was absolutely no replay value. Now I sound like Zee. But it's the truth.

Unfortunately this. icon14.gif

I'm not going to miss it as I found it frustrating and sluggish one is finished the game. I wanted to love it but I couldn't. I love Gta with passion people but you have to admit it got boring quick. Couldn't parachute, no planes, driving was awful, sluggish controls... Once the game was done there was little else to do.

I have recently fixed my router so i've been "balls deep" into multiplayer for the past weeks lol.gif Probably going to finish off the storyline too before putting the game to sleep.

(Gotta get myself a second hand PS3 too)

Packie won't return in V, it's been confirmed. sad.gif

I said goodbye to IV a long time ago.
I played through it 3 times but it got boring fast, almost no lovable characters, and every one was just annoying calling me all the f*cking time. NO ROMAN I DON'T WANT TO GO BOWLING!

I still play TBOGT and sometimes TLAD, they are better because there are more likable characters, better weapons, vehicles and more. smile.gif

It didn't to me. When GTA IV was new it was the only game I played. Nothing else satisfied me.

Hell it's the only GTA I can really be bothered to start a new save these days. I just remebered it was its 5 year anniversary the other day so I started a new save.

I know the "there's nothing to do" argument is a rather common opinion, but it's not a view shared by everyone. GTA IV gets boring at times, but it stills sucks me in better than alot of games do.

It's never been as bad as what people say IMO.

I said goodbye to GTA4 a very long time ago. I must admit I wasn't particularly excited about GTAV and stayed away from this forum as much as I could, however, seeing the recent features preview that the media have have gave us the past few days, I'm actually beginning to look forward to it.

Yes, I've bought a ticket to ride on the hype-train. tounge2.gif

GTA4 is now all but a distant memory. Even RDR still gets more playtime than the snoozefest that was GTA4.

Only those with taste would appreciate IV. It is the ONLY accurate video game depiction of New York City.

The game was breathtakingly stunning , nevermind gameplay.

Be a little superficial and admit that its the best looking gta to date! Geez!

I sure hope you played The Ballad of Gay Tony.

And the driving in IV is my favorite part of the game! turn.gif

First I will go bowling with my cousin Roman. Then I will hang out with other friends. After that I will go around the WHOLE CITY 1 last time. And finally the last thing I will do is get a helicopter, go on a building, and then I jump. As soon as Niko dies i will say "Thanks for the memories Niko, it was fun". Then I will turn off my PS3, take the disc out and I will safely put it in the game box. AND THAT'S HOW I WILL END IV

Put my dick trough the diskhole and make love to it one last time before it goes into my closet forever. Pretty much like my past girlfriends.

I'm not going to say goodbye to GTAIV, still loving that game! GTAV will probably put it to shame but it's still one of the best games this generation.

Niko will always have a special place for me, he is my favorite protag and has the deepest story.

I would like to think we hear a reference to him in V, maybe on the radio or internet detailing his rise up the crime ladder, like you are listening to wesel news and they say "in other news, crime lord Niko Bellic has escaped drug trafficking/murder charges in Liberty city....witnesses confirmed he was seen bowling with his Cousin the night of the crimes"

I won't say goodbye to GTA IV. I never did it for earlier GTAs, too. This series has so much playability it's no need to say goodbye to any of games. biggrin.gif

That's actually a good idea. I will do that to with my stupid flashed xbox before I sell it, f*cking hated that it is flashed. Going to buy a new one around August. Hopefully. And will pre-order GTA V around that time.

Agreed, after beating SA what activities are people spending time on besides battling cops? I still do that in IV and will always love DM and FM. I am probably in the minority but I still enjoy going into FM, finding a bully and dominating them until they rage/quit. Makes me feel all warm and cozy.

After playing GTA IV, none of the earlier GTA's were quite as fun any more. I'm expecting the same thing to happen with V. I don't plan on saying goodbye to IV tbh, I've already got hundreds of hours of gameplay out of it!
