I get that. I also get that if I haven't eaten for a long time. I hate it, especially on public transport because I've literally gotten to the point of almost throwing up a few times.

I did once, but luckily it was right after I'd gotten out of the subway and there was a rubbish bin nearby....

Anyway, my record isn't much but it's just a little over 24 hours. And considering how bad I felt after that, I don't think I could ever do more.

Around 48 hours. Pretty sh*tty since i had to do hard physical labor at work during those days. For some reason i just couldn't sleep at all (might have been stress) and ended up spending my sleepless nights watching Simpsons.

And for people who have a hard time falling asleep, here is some interesting facts:

There is a disease called Fatal familial insomnia (FFI) which can activate any time during the life of the people who have it. It basically makes your brain unable to sleep EVER again. Just like that. One night you sleep fine, then the next night you can't sleep - and you won't sleep again.
People who have it can be put into comas, but in the long run it's not a substitute for sleep. It's non-curable.

During the course of the disease people experience: panic attacks, paranoia, hallucinations, weight loss and dementia.
After ½ to 2 years your immune system will be so weakened that a common cold could kill you.

But don't let it keep you awake at night the next time you can't sleep ;)

120 hours. Please don't attempt to do this, you're asking for a terrible time.

On average, I go 2-3days with no sleep atleast once a week or once bi-weekly but the longest I've ever went was over 4days.

Around 46 hours or so. All I remember is that I pulled an all nighter and nearly made two without crashing. Went to bed for 2 or 3 hours and was called into work the next day, where I proceeded to function slightly better than if I'd had a full night's sleep.

About 36 hours, I'm really not sure why I did that though, I was in my teens. And I slept for 19 hours afterward.

The longest I stayed up was 34 hour. It was during the summer and I was just chatting with some friends till about 4 am then realized that I had to leave for school in about 2.5 hours so I ditched sleeping that night. Went to school came back home around 1 pm. I was thirsty so I had a monster since that's was the only thing I had and later hanged out with some fiends till 8 or 9 pm. Did some homework and when I finished around 12 am their was a cute girl on Facebook so I talked to her for hours and by the time she went to bed I had to get ready for school again. So I quickly had some monster before leaving and went to school. Got back home around 1 pm and pasted out and woke up around 7 am. But luckily it was a Saturday so I was able to reset my sleeping hours.

I'm currently on a ~34 hours streak.

Nothing special. Just feel slight pressure in my head. Had a few "sleeping crisis'", but managed to fight them off. Like someone here said, it's about keeping yourself moving and occupied with something. No sign of visual nor auditory hallucinations, I've no idea how people get them so easily, or maybe they just like to exaggerate a bit. I'll see if I get them, although I doubt I will.

If I even decide not to go to sleep, that is.

My streak ended on the 45th hour. :)

If I actually had something to do, and if it wasn't for some complications that happened, I would've lasted longer. No hallucinations or anything.

Not too bad, though, but I want to make it longer. I'll probably try again sooner or later.

Damn guys, I've never made it even past a full day (24 hours) and that is my max.

I've spent more than a day asleep though, do I win anything for that?

I slept for ~50 hours once, do I win anything for that?

The best I did was 20-ish hours awake.
