So today while posting in the V section I got two password recovery emails. I didn't request one it just sent it. Is this something that happens every once in a while?

I assume someone is trying to access my account, so I guess I'd like to bring it to staffs attention so that if someone does hack my account it doesn't come off as some troll excuse.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, someone must have tried to access your account. It doesn't happen randomly, somebody must have entered your name at the password recovery panel and that way you've been sent an e-mail about it. However, as it should say in the e-mail (I don't remember right), if it wasn't you, the owner of the GTAForums account / E-mail who requested a password recovery, just ignore the mail and take no action.

I get like a dozen of those a day. As long as your password isn't something like "abc123" you should be fine.

This happened to me on my E-Bay account. Whenever it did, I changed my password anyway to throw the wannabe account snatcher off track. It was burdensome because every internet account I have, I use a different password, username & e-mail.
