Hello,

Today I noticed that in the GTA SA game settings it also has settings for Joypad. Do you think if I connect my PS3 Controller to my PC, and change the GTA SA game settings to Joypad the game will work?

Yes, you could, BUT you'll spend hours trying to get it to work properly.
I suggest you buy a Generic USB GamePad (I use the Logitech Dual Action ™ it works straight from the box).

You need MotioninJoy for your computer to detect your controller. Also here's how you set it up for San Andreas: LINK

I tried to implement PS2 control settings on the PC, but to no avail, so I just resumed using my PS2.

I recommend lil weasels advice though.
